Behemoth Titan SUPER (Trash PVE+PVP)
Sadly, Bungie stated they won’t bring the stasis subclasses back to their release potential.
But for peetsake buff the Behemoth titan super!
It’s trash across the board! It’s outclasses by the others.
You can use like 3-4 melees Effectively before it uses your entire super up because of the extreme input delay they added. Sure you can spam heavy slam but you become a sitting duck if you try. You only inch forward like 2 meters. And It’s not like it’s damage is worth using in PVE. Normal light subclass BASE ABILITIES can out DPS and add clear the super itself.
Then Half the time in PVP super Melees don’t even register as a 1HK and you’re stuck waisting time running after the opponent you just booped. By time you can even get to them you’ve pretty much wasted your super and only used a single slam to attempt to freeze them in desperation 🤷🏻
I don’t know… thoughts? It just feels so Lack luster and outclassed.

1 ReplyThe stasis titan in general needs to be helped. It was ridiculous the slide aspect only had 1 fragment for this long. Glad they finally going to fix that, but that melee ability is bad and we need an entirely different melee option for that class. Could probably use a new super option for that class as well.

Agreed 👍 the super itself needs a change maybe something like a ground slam that freezes and kills everything in a certain mile radius, the abilities are great leave those alone

I’m a titan main and I hate the stasis subclass for titan. I think bubble needs the most help. It’s kind of worthless right now.

Edited by DuBChiri2: 11/4/2022 4:34:10 PMIt's definitely been left undertuned for awhile, but it's also a really dangerous super to buff in pvp. The slam sets up anything to die instantly other than well of radiance. The super can actually travel fairly quickly and has substantial tracking on the light attack (that doesn't meant it registers though). Its got a 30 second duration, which is the highest base duration of any super in the game. It's got good things going for it, but the nerfs are what killed it. The slam, although it sets everything up to die, has had the vertical hitbox nerfed so hard that jumping over it is just way too easy, and latency mixed with that fact just has you slamming like an idiot for nothing. The light attack just isn't consistently registering after they nerfed it's velocity. Enemies jumping backwards means it misses even if the lunge is dragging you straight towards them. The lunge also doesn't work properly if you are too close...which is quite stupid for a melee. As for the neutral game, it really needs more. The melee sucks so bad for engaging that people just use it to move around. Titans don't synergize with any of the grenades but glacier grenade for their aspects which is going to be the worst of the 3 grenades after these tweaks. It's cooldown is just way too long compared to the other 2 and gives the lowest returns in pve. Titans are supposed to be the best at crystal spawning...but the best thing you can do with them is diamond lance and duskfield for freezing. In that instance, cryoclam is worthless, the melee regen aspect is worthless and the uppercut is just a nuisance to destroy for damage. Like the whole kit since it's release has had no proper identity and that needs to change.

I definitely am not for behemoth being as strong as it was pre nerf because that super was a demon sent from hell. But i think buffing it or the subclass its self is not out of the question.

I used ehroar’s stasis Titan build before I quit playing (pvp frustration) and it was really fun in pve. With the buff to crystal explosions I exclusively used the the super for crystal explosions on bosses. It does quite a lot of damage.

It's actually one of the better dps supers but the it's difficult to optimize since the crystals spread out so much. I just wish they made it not feel so clunky, and when you slam it goes in the direction your aiming instead of the direction your body is facing.
