When solar 3.0 was released, each class was given different aspects that more or less related to the warlock excluding burn. These perks were the restoration, ignition, and radiant, two of theses were on middle tree and ignition was on bottom tree dawnblade. We kept middle tree by moving all perks to the fragment slots while top tree was moved to the aspect slot while bottom was scraped leaving only phoenix dive. The other 3.0 classes didn’t lose a whole tree (play style) but instead perks that got reworked or improved, (infinite throwing knives of any type, sunspots, burn) it sad to say that warlocks felt left out. Even though the explosions caused by touch of flame are still in the game in some way, to takes too much ability input to get even one let alone the amount that we’re possible before. It would be nice to have this back just so that warlocks feel actually dangerous instead of being stuck on top tree dawn.

If Icarus Dash was combined with Heat Rises we could have had an aspect that causes scorched targets to ignite if they die from scorch. Scorch can’t get final blows in PVP so that shouldn’t have caused a balance issue.
