Hello! I've been playing destiny 2 fine for a good while now. I have a 3080ti and an Intel i7-11700k. Now all of the sudden, whenever I launch the game and get into actual gameplay, I can't get over 25fps. The only workaround I've found is to reinstall my graphics drivers on each launch. I've even switched to studio drivers but still have to reinstall upon PC launch. Project lasso did not fix this issue no matter how I configured it. I've pinned it to being a gpu issue. No other games seem to do this. Any clues??

2 RepliesI installed a fresh copy of windows onto one of my empty drives and destiny ran perfect. I went back onto my main drive and uninstalled a bunch of random programs I no longer used a long with resetting msi afterburner to defaults (which was at default settings to begin with) and I now no longer have to reinstall my driver's and everything is working as normal. Unfortunately I don't know what the exact fix was but I'm leaning towards msi afterburner

2 Repliesit's not your pc, Bungie haven't made any fixes or optimisations since beyond light and their PC team were put on hold in the middle of lockdown and I'm assuming they have no way of catching up with their workload because bungie is just hammering the game with content so their PC team has no way of catching up and fixing anything... its not your PC bud

If anyone still has this problem, make sure you have "prefer maximum performance" set in the driver. Sometimes on higher end system, destiny doesn't trigger full resources as the power management software considers it too weak of a task to be worth the power draw.
