Can we have 180 speed as basic speed for sparrow
Kinda bored to use Always on Time cause it's mostly the best choice cause of speed

3 Repliespretty sure most sparrows are 180 the only thing is that Always on Time is the one out of two sparrows that has a perk that makes it so that enemies will not target you first

Just give us option to transmog our sparrows, so we can freely choose whatever we want. Be it good ol' slow [armory]Wayfarer[/armory]'s Zero, [armory]Always On Time[/armory], or anything in-between.

7 RepliesWhy do people feel forced to use AoT? Who are you racing? New lights on patrols? Use what you want and have fun. Explore, speed is not important anyway. SRL isn’t coming so it’s not crazy. I get that all exotic sparrows should have the same speed but does it really really matter?

3 RepliesI spent a ton of materials buying that sparrow earlier this year. I would prefer to get ornaments for Sparrows rather than removing what makes Always On Time unique

I’d rather use my spider sparrow anyway than have the less than 2 seconds shaved off my strike. Even the go kart one. There’s plenty of sparrows with effects that rival the trivial time saved from AoT.

Or make sparrows be ornaments so I can change the look of AoT.

I think all endgame sparrows (raids, dungeons, trials, GMs) should have 180 speed, keep everything else the same.

You can count the number of times that having a faster Sparrow is meaningful on one hand, and the time it saves you in general activities is really insignificant. I much prefer using a Sparrow that looks nice and has a cool boost effect than one that gets me there slightly faster but looks and feels dreadful.

And for a very brief time I’d rather they make new weapons if armor. Or actually fix broken part if the game, yes I’m talking artifice armor something they broke

1 ReplyI would be fine if they all had the same speed, lose the numbers, instant summon. No body cares about auto reloading weapons while riding, and bungo doesn't want people sparrow flying and rolling around out of bounds. So make them purely cosmetic and move on. It was fun in D1, but it's just not practical now. If they truly wanted to do something to sparrows they would have to make the time invested worth it. Rework them to act like a piece of equipment, like the ghost. Slot mods for Riding over glimmer +10% Killing an enemy while riding spawn an orb of light. Stuff like that. But sparrows aside from cosmetics have really been a transport afterthought. At least give us back the horns Bungie....

Speed is not always a determining factor in racing. As an SRL champ you gotta take corners right and know when to let your boost recharge.

They should do a sparrow overhaul where you upgrade them to have mod slots like armor & ghosts, then have AoT be a model for how many perks you should be able to slot in add some new options alongside AoT’s perks - all as slot-able mods, and tada Sparrow 3.0 Bring back SRL, sparrow horns, and sparrow trails and you now have a full racing sim in Destiny and a much better vehicle system

1 ReplyHe =/ since Sparrows are not really such a big deal in the game, I don't know how much Bungie should look into. Having a Sparrow that goes at 150 or 160 or 180 deosn't really change much in the great scheme of things, Guardian =/

I don't really know if something should be done about it, it does cost good amount of materials and even more so for those of us who grind for it before sunsetting, sparrow transmog would be good but not really worth the effort, more 180 sparrows from GM, raid or master content would make more sense

Would be nice if we could mod our sparrows... like what do you want : speed, resil or stealth.
