With all the posts about hunters using invis right after hunters gain a new exotic, lets talk about the REAL issue in pvp. The extreme overuse is witherhoard and storm grenades getting spammed on a near constant basis. You genuinely cant go more than 1 game without seeing one or both of these being spammed nonstop.
So lets stop complaining about invis, and focus on the real issues at hand.

Ugh. Enough with this please. For 8 years most of my favorite weapons and exotics have been neefed to the ground because someone gets their feelings hurt in pvp. Hunters aren’t an issue. Warlocks aren’t an issues. Titans aren’t an issue. Pvp in itself is the only issue in Destiny. Always has been. It’s like a cancer destroying it’s host. Can we please focus on more content with better rollouts than this seasonal crap and stop complaints about what killed you in pvp. It’s just a game. Stop ruining mine and many others experience because you lost or felt bad.
pretty please with a f&@%ing cherry on top.
1 ReplyEdited by Coal: 11/3/2022 3:18:18 AMStorm grenades, sure. Witherhoard, wtf?😂 That thing is only viable for cap point in trials. And Oml the fact that you think invis is fine just proves how either out-of-touch, daft, or in denial you are.

3 RepliesWitherhoard has never and will never be an issue in pvp. Storm grenades are very strong though.
-
You see, the issue with your argument is that when I get to the end of a Trials card it's not full teams of Arc titans I see, it's full teams of void Hunters. And when it comes to Titans in general, you'll also notice that if you do fight them at the end of the Trials card, it's mainly void Titans, not Arc Titans.
-
I mean you're not wrong about storm grenades but that's what happens when you can use whatever you like in PvP. Witherhoard though? Nah. It does it's purpose. Area of effect and Stops people camping x)
-
Storm grenades? Yeah too strong. Witherhoard? Annoying yes. Too strong no.
-
Storm grenades for sure, not so much witherhoard
-
You have to literally be braindead to stand in a pool of death I can understand storm grenades tho
-
Imagine willingly standing in the circle on the floor, and complaining about dying. Try moving. Witherhoard is not the issue chief.
-
10 RepliesStorm Nades you can make a argument for. Witherhoard though? Bruh…
-
Storm grenades, agreed especially the enhanced tracking version. Witherhoard? No way witherhoard and special GLs are mid as best rn
-
Witherhoard is annoying. Especially when you have a team using them. But it’s a unique weapon and the game needs unique unusual things in it to make it interesting. Leave well alone.

Edited by The Hermit IX: 11/1/2022 4:32:43 AMWitherhoard isn’t an issue. I hate seeing things nerfed because someone dies from it in control. Jump or stay off the glowing gue. If a player is straight up hitting you with it they earned it.
-
Hunter main here. Witherhoard is not the issue. Here are my gripes of what the issues are with pvp: - gyrfalcons with linear fusions (arby or Lorentz) - snipe thru flinch (also applies to LFRs) - nade spam (titan stormcaller) - melee hit registration - 1 hit kill abilities paired with extreme aim assist on these things (weighted throwing knife, arc warlock lunge melee, titan shield bash pre nerf) - airborne effectiveness nerf - invis spam The list goes on…

3 RepliesWH is for cutting off choke points, blocking easy escape routes or breaking up groups If it kills you its nearly always your own fault.
-
I agree with arc titans with extended duration on storm gernade is a problem. Lasts way too long. And also yes in pve it is a way overtuned busted ability. Lob a storm gernade with inner most light exotic and it does almost all the work for you. No im not a titan main yes im a warlock main but anyone can notice when something is clearly overtuned.
-
Bruh if witherhoard kills you it’s almost always your own fault
-
5 RepliesEdited by Lord Kielron: 10/31/2022 2:51:10 PMArc Titans are a problem. They are overtuned for sure Witherhoard isn’t really an issue as of now
-
Witherhoard is hard to dodge, the massive red bright circle is nearly invisible and I can't walk over it without dying.
-
I'm not going to lie, Whiterhoard is the only weapon that make me laugh under my breathe, much like the pre-nerfed Thorn in Destiny 1. The way people look as is they are fainting when they die is chefs kiss.
-
Hunter main calling for nerfs. Typical.

Edited by SolarCerberuS: 11/1/2022 7:21:17 AMWither is in the same boat as Jotunn it merely catches out players with poor positioning, awareness, poor movement skills and the ads campers. Its just unique in how it can deny area access but its not that bad, many other legendary gls are better at killing. Storm grenades will likely be reigned in but maibly due to how easy they make pve, they are easily out manouvered in pvp
-
5 RepliesIf you want to complain about titans, then maybe you should complain about void titans when it’s zone control.
-
What a surprise, a Hunter main with Gyrfalcon and Rat King equipped making these statements 🤦♂️
-
Edited by Taejzon23: 11/1/2022 2:06:30 AMThe real issue? Why is your Warlock and Titan below 1500 light then? Dude, stop. Hunter isn't overused for no reason. You fall in that category yourself. The extreme use of INVISIBLE Hunters is a problem. I bet whenever you pub-stomp in Trials it's your go-to, huh? Of COURSE it is.....just look at your other 2 characters! 😆

Skill issue.
