I've been using Novel AI's image generator for a month now, making some of my own characters and yesterday I got this really decent image (minus the hands and face if you look closer). Its not only 100% accurate to the prompt but also unusually detailed for the AI. I wanted to share it but I couldn't just post it alone, I needed an excuse. Well, NAI is a paid service with the only free option being a slightly outdated bootleg. So… Post a prompt and I'll generate an image for you. If you want me to, I'll also modify your prompt if I think I can make it better. How to Use: [Spoiler]Post a prompt and (optional) negative prompt. A prompt is a set of words that tells the AI what to generate. Prompts can be modified with [] and {}, to weaken and strengthen specific tags. See recommendations. A negative prompt is a set of words that tell the AI what NOT to make. Low quality and bad anatomy tags are inside by default. Pick a model. Model determines which AI to use. Each model is trained on different data. Currently, there are 3 models: Anime (Curated), Anime (Full), and Furry (Beta). See restrictions. Pick a Size. (Optional) See restrictions. Specify Settings. (Optional) Steps determines how many times the AI adds to the image, less steps = less detail. At 1 images look like static. Default is 28. Scale determines how hard the AI follows your prompt. Low scale generates more creative images, while high scale makes images closer to the prompt. High scale often looks worse, especially if you have a complicated prompt. Default is 11. Quality tags are automatically added to the prompt by default. This can be turned off. There are also seeds for each image. If you ask me to use the same seed, I can. No Variations or Enhancements. Maximum Steps allowed is 28. Minimum is 1. Maximum Scale allowed is 100. Minimum is 1.1. SFW only. Buy a subscription yourself if you want NSFW. I won't generate your prompt if I don't want to. Anime models only. Buy it yourself if you want furry stuff.[/spoiler] Recommendations: [Spoiler]NAI uses Danbooru tags. If it's not a tag on Danbooru or the tag has less than 150 images, the AI will seriously struggle to generate it. NAI is best used for generating a single humanoid character. It does not generate vehicles, robots, animals, weapons, landscapes, or multiple people very well. That doesn't mean it can't generate them, just not in a specific or intended way. The Curated model has fewer but higher quality images. It's less blurry and better at details. If you want to use unpopular tags in your prompt, or have more creative output, choose the Full model. The less images in a tag, the harder it is for NAI to create it. Try to use more popular tags if possible, or compensate by using tags with similar concepts. The more tags in the prompt, the harder it is for NAI to generate a desired result. Try to cut down on superfluous tags. The further away the image is from a detail, the less likely it is to appear. For example, when "full body" is in the prompt, any kind of scar rarely appears. You can't fix it with the prompt or settings either. There are some quirks with tags that have spaces in them, and they are occasionally misinterpreted. "Bags under eyes" sometimes results in literal bags that are anywhere below a character's eyeline. If you want an image that looks like anything more than a blur keep the scale below 25 and above 2. The best images are between 8 and 15. Don't lower the steps unless you want goofy images. Despite the fact that quality and low quality tags are in the prompt and negative prompt by default, you can strengthen both to get even better results with diminishing returns. [] and {} roughly weaken and strengthen a tag by .1x. You can strengthen or weaken multiple times (ex. [[[tag]]]) or you can put a tag twice for 2x strength or weakness.
