So this ‘curse of nezarec’ is it something that we should be worried about?

After all the name it self is giving off a this can be a massive issue but at the same time this named during the dark age which to my understanding petiole back then made it off of superstition much like our midivel past. So make that for what you will but still however we use these relics something bad could still happen and I wouldn’t put it past the witness to have planned this.

  • Should we be worried? We have dismembered pieces of a disciple of the witness in the vanguard's mobile command center that is currently located above its ship on the moon We also have the leviathan, absolutely riddled with egregore parked nearby. All this darkness energy, parked a stones throw from earth and the last city... I think we should all be concerned about these developments.. As for nezerec's curse I feel its a tutankhamen style thing, a curse for whoever disturbs its remains. A curse sent from the witness to prevent any tampering of nezerecs body/corpse

  • You should be worried. Nezarec is unknown to you guardians. Someone should probably ask Misraaks about it. But in the meantime, look to the lore tabs of the helmet of Nezarec. That should give a good idea. Look, also, to what the helmet does. It siphons energy through the use of void. That may help to discover whether it is actually true or not. Until then, oh guardian mine…

  • Very much. Pure Darkness would be just the thing the Witness can use to infect the Traveler. From the sound of it, it's very fast acting...like an Aggressive virus. What's funny is it's now positioned between the Traveler and the Luna Pyramid.....*cough* trojan horse. *cough* gravity needle dipped in poison. 💥 POP GOES THE TRAVELER!

    • I think it’s going to be real and be a plot point. Nezarec is going to return by draining the lifeforce of those in the ritual. Eido and Mithrax are going to stumble into it and Eido will get caught up in it. Mithrax will save her, sacrificing his own well-being as a testament to how he has changed and fulfilling his need to prove himself. Mithrax survives but is severely injured. Eramis arrives to see the last of this and ends up turning on the witness because of this. (Just her, not her entire house). Nezarec flees to someplace unknown. Part of me thinks we’ll see the lunar pyramid take off and will either be the big threat for the next season or will flee to the rest of the Black Fleet in prep for lightfall. (Somehow got to get Calus, last seen in Lunar Pyramid, to Neptune for Lightfall) Idk, just some thoughts I’ve had.

      • I'm still sticking with my theory that Nezarec's Curse is Void based. Like the Devour debuff or Void Souls. Voidwalkers do that kind of stuff on constant basis.
