Well, another friend who came back this season left. Warlock main d2. I suggested he create a Hunter but he works, too.
I rarely play 'lock anymore and am becoming a better Titan and Hunter because of this issue. I am retired and have time. However, I have long time gamer friends jumping ship! 2 this season!!!!
Hunter has top 3 supers! And invis (why Taco left)
Titan has top grenade, especially at high frame rates.
Warlock only needed when one puts on Firing Line! Least maneuverable, too, and high res builds means lower recovery, buffing Titans.
Maybe it's what Bungie wants? Yet, players are leaving! Yes, I'm sure you're aware.
The magic has fled the Warlock class!

5 RepliesFor someone claiming to be a warlock “main” sure suck at if you think it’s not viable. Take the gm this week, easy with arc 3.0 and fallen sun star plus trinity. Ability spam out the -blam!-. Also being able to pop off more than five supers in under 20 minutes without 100 intellect is great too. Learn your class considering i main hunter more but can pull up a good warlock build without well needed.

I don't get it. What about warlock is underpowered? They seems strong to me both as I play with and against. May be that storm nades and camouflage need some fix?

1 ReplyUnfortunately, the more players that leave, the more players leave. When a players close friends leave it makes it much more likely that person will leave, creating a domino effect. To top it off, the more people resist a change to fix the problem, (note the comments you are about to get) the more people leave and then it gets to where the population is so low, the only thing left is sweats and diehards. I've had friends leave as well, and it boils down to balance. I'm on the fence about leaving myself. I'll wait and see if Bungie addresses balance by the time FotL is over, if not I think I'll check out some other games.
