9 RepliesFun Fact: Game is broken and empty since Activision left 3 years ago. D2 was already broken when they launched it 5 years ago. But now that Activision is gone, it’s both broken and empty. Haha!🤣 I stopped playing after Activision left. I used to trust game companies because of their previous work. Now, after what they did with this game. I never and will never preorder any game until I get some sort of good and honest review. For this company, probably will never buy anything from them after what they did here. Not the same company after Halo. Bungie is just a name now. Not even worth mentioning they made Halo. I mean how can they come from making an epic game like Halo to a broken and empty game like D2?… Not worth mentioning it now. Empty. Haha!🤣

It's awful. I finished the regular triumphs in 3 days, got the title and won't equip a mask again this year. I'll log in at weekly reset to see what's on offer for bright dust then probably log off until the next reset. This developer has not been providing engaging content, even witch queen was shallow and forcing the multi-character grind. The events are terrible and bug riddled, the seasonal power grind is getting annoying. I have little faith that lightfall will be engaging for longer than a few weeks, for the first time I will not be preordering.

Artifact power is what’s pushing me away from this game. It has been and will continue to be a garbage system. Want to play GM’s? Grind bounties for 10 hours everyday for a week just to do something you’ve already done. Thx Bungie🙏

We could grind for all of the cool/silly cosmetics for free. Now we still need to grind, but this time there's an additional pay wall if you want all of the cool/silly cosmetics. It just seems greedy and I don't even want to participate like I did in prior years

4 RepliesYou know what? My son tried the event activity ONCE, said there’s nothing to do in Destiny this season anymore, and retired from Destiny. This game is so repetitive and badly thought out that I fear many more will leave. As it is I just don’t feel like playing myself anymore. What IS there to do? Level up weapons, chase red borders, farm high stat armour? I need nothing from this game. I could maybe raid more, but playing with randoms doesn’t stimulate me. I’ve loved this game for so long, but now? Not so much. I really thought with Sony buying Bungie things would get better. They got worst.

2 RepliesIts weird. In the past there would be a distinct divide between those who agreed and those who would say something along the lines of, "I dont care. Bye." or something. Now, there is much less disagreement. More people seem to agree that bungie is letting the game fall apart.

12 RepliesHow is this a micro transaction heavy event ? If you are talking about the universal armor ornaments sets, then you are confused. Those are past Fotl event sets, allowing people who didn't play back then or couldn't buy them, to be able to purchase them now. If you are talking about the mask ornaments, then let me just tell you that those are completly pointless, they can only be aplied to the event mask and you will only use it during the event. Honestly people will always bring up the micro transaction store no matter what. I am so sick of hearing about it. It is one single tab and one vendor in the tower. I have never never felt like i am missing something out because i couldn't or wouldn't pay for it. Most stuff can be bought with Bright dust and you can get some through the Eververse engrams. I am 100% done with the event and not for a single second was a pushed towards the store or reminded about it. If you are going to make a complaint, then complain about something that makes sense and also is a problem. Eververse has literarily nothing to do with the event.

The event is extremely worn... but to break off because of three weeks, which are optional, is also not the best argument. Anyway, to each their own! I'm also not glad with it, but I make the best out of it, or I ignore it - like I did with Solstice. Destiny 2 exists not only of Festival of the Lost 2022.

2 RepliesIt was ok to play for a day or so, once you get the seal though it's not worth carrying on. They gave the PVP god roll of the sniper to everyone and in PVE they are trash anyway, and once you get an incandescent jurrasic green that's the weapons done.

Take your Opening Shot, Snapshot roll Sniper from the beginning quest and go on with your day. No need to do anything else in this event unless you like a pulse that's inferior to basically all other 540s in the game and some 450s that are meh anyway.
