Good Job on the Sidearm Buff
I wasn’t sure how the buff was going to feel at first, they feel so much more consistent especially the exotic sidearms. I encourage everyone to give the sidearms a try it’s night and day from before.

2 RepliesIs it just me having issues hitting headshots with the sidearms? Tried the drang, the last dance (mah fave), brigands law and a handful of other sidearms, but it just seems rather inconsistent, am i doing something wrong? engaging targets to far out perhaps?

5 RepliesThe mistake was nerfing smgs and buffing sidearm at the same time. This is a recurring theme with bungie were they take two weapons competing in the same ranges and nerf one, buff the other and whoops. One usually feels way better then the other. Should've left smgs alone and just buffed sidearms.

7 RepliesAs far as I can remember sidearms have always been good in PvP. I prefer them. I still use Traveler's Judgement from Curse of Osiris. It still puts in work with just headseeker.

I think they won’t be as oppressive after the rangefinder nerf finally goes through. The most problematic ones rn all abuse rangefinder combined w the buff. Drang might see a nerf to its zoom at some point but basically everything else feels great. Side-note I highly recommend everyone try Devil’s Ruin and Empirical Evidence, and maybe try to get a Headseeker High Albedo for next season.

To be honest. Sidearms have always been good. Just special weapon play has been way too strong regardless of metas
