The titan storm grenade spam is out of control

Every match I get in, there's always at least 2 storm grenades chasing someone at all times. They are far too strong and last far too long. Come at me titan nade spammers. You know it's true

    • They don’t do much damage and are more annoying than OP. Those things move extremely slow and are easy to avoid. Lightning nades are more deadly

    • Honestly terrible if you're complaining about this. Haven't gotten kills with it or gotten killed by it. It's a nade that works on bad players. Bait it and run away. Don't go back down that lane for a bit. Very simple.

    • They deal 30 damage per a strike (120 initial decreased from 160 while aspect is equipped) and slowly follow a target slow enough that walking can outspeed them the strength comes in area denial and those who don't move and sit around waiting.

        • Here’s a cheat code to stop storm grenades: If you apply a little bit of pressure in any direction to the left joystick on your controller, the grenade stops hurting you. I couldn’t tell you the last time I’ve been killed by one after learning this life hack.

          • Add to the fact that the typical sweat composition nowadays is running at least two titans (and usually one invis hunter), the grenade spamming is even worse.

            • Nah... With arc 3.0 I became a titan.... And as such I can say they are fairly weak in regards to the made itself... Here is the true problem with it... Players staying in one place to long not realizing it was thrown by a titan and It will follow. The jolt that comes with it. Specially on control or game modes where players stay grouped. I can jolt each player run in with an out of bounds shooting one player and doing damage to multiple targets at once. Best I've gotten is 4 people without reloading. And finally my favorite part. The jolt as well as the grenade itself let's me track and see where you are. So you can't hide. And while you're running and evading it I can come in chasing after it knowing it's going straight to you. Not as good as wall hacks. But it does help with knowing your direction specially on large maps where you can stay off radar.

            • Warlock main here, dusted off my titan first pvp match, first grenade throw X3 kills from one nade... It's op but let them enjoy it during arc3 before calls for nerf😅 it might feel toned down next season.

                  • Base Storm grenades need a PvE buff, but enhanced ones need a nerf. Do crazy amounts of damage an is basically a mini super. This is combined with one of the shorter Grenade cooldowns. Stasis Turrets got nerfed into the ground and they weren’t nearly as effective in PvP (they’re about on par in PvE). Same with Hand Held Super Nova and Renewal Grasp duskfields.

                  • Ehy Guardian. The problem is not the Grenade itself but the Nature that makes it Enhanced =/ that is what Bungie should look at to balance. However I don't know if this could be possible so to nerf it in PvP but not in PvE and ruin the Storm 'nades spam build that is pretty popular nowadays.
