Penalties instead of fixing the issues that drive quitting. Ridiculous lag. Toxic community.
The game commits the worst crime a game can aside from steing money, it's just no longer fun feels like a complete waste of my time.
I've asked for a refund on the lightfall preorder.
Good luck retaining your loyal community. They will jump to the next viable game. That is all.
Penalties instead of fixing the issues that drive quitting.
I completely agree with that sentence, at least. As far as the rest of it: well, if really isn't fun, you should definitely move on to something else that's more enjoyable for you.

1 ReplyIm still quitting. If i have a real bad experience I'll join another match to quit instantly. idc about timeout. After a shitshow i dont wanna play PvP anyway Only way Bungie learns is if we teach them that stop quitting isn't the cure but just fighting a symptom.
-
Bungie is an embarrassment to the gaming community.

7 RepliesD2 pvp is no longer drunk friendly. I can only compete when sober in control. Beer or kd 🤔 1.69 answers that question

You call other people toxic when you are literally whining about how you can't leave games when you don't like it without punishment. And pvp mains only make up roughly 10% of the entire game's population. Don't the the door hit you where the good lord split you.

3 RepliesThe war for life should be fought with extreme measures meant for giving the best chance for survival. If Destiny's life is failing because of cancerous cells eating at it's survival, then cutting out the corrupted cells is the best course. If an entire limb of the body is too far infected to be saved the limb must be sacrificed for survival of the body. The OP comments that PVP players are toxic, weak and traitorous. OP states PVP game mode in Destiny is cancerous and will destroy the game. Both the toxic players and PVP game modes should be cut out so the game can survive. That is the simplistic answer to the situation the commentator has presented.

I'm having closer games than ever. Sure they take a little longer to find but it's worth it. See yah

I'm enjoying crucible. Best it has ever been.

7 RepliesWhat pvp needs: Stack balancing. Like ten new maps while removing like seven. Dedicated servers. The ability to have more than one play style that’s meta. Ability nerfs. Things people want but I don’t really see the point of; Map voting but nobody wants to sit in orbit longer. Bigger maps but everyone complains about running across those maps. Cbmm permanent clash so they have a place to “try out non meta builds” aka stomp lower skilled players while using meta.

2 RepliesYour stats are very similar to mine. It's a rough season for us 1.1/1.2 KDs for sure. To be honest, I'm using this season as a chance to practice with different playstyles and weapon loadouts. If you do end up actually dipping, I can totally understand. But don't stress about it too much. It's Destiny PvP, so in the grand scheme, it honestly doesn't matter.

1 ReplyRefund for lightfall ? Why do people even pre order a digital product ? Did you think they were gonna run out of digital copies ?
-
2 RepliesWell gee, its almost as if Destiny is a game that is not solely laser focused on the pvp experience, and focuses much more heavily on the pve experience and world building. Bungie is aware that the disconnect penalties were unpopular. Also, im not saying the pvp side in unimportant. but why do PVPers always seem to want to pigeonhole this game into just Crucible, Trials, and IB by extension when its a vast MMORPG game at heart? Bungie tries stuff, gauges its effect and reaction, then responds accordingly. why demand a refund because of one move you didnt like, when Bungie proves over and over to be capable of course correction?

8 RepliesDo you mean toxic like your title?
-
1 ReplyI don't understand. Are you quitting because of very loose skill matchmaking? Because you can't stomp on noobs as often anymore?
-
5 Replies
Good luck retaining your loyal community. They will jump to the next viable game. That is all.
It's all well and good that you're done with the game. In fact, it's something to be celebrated. The more people that actually follow through and leave when they have problems the better. But it becomes a problem once you start speaking for other people. So, just a reminder, most people, most members of this loyal community, would prefer to speak for themselves. You don't speak for them.

1 ReplyThe most embarrassing part is that you pre-ordered Lightfall. I would be ashamed for that alone. Bungo scam train full steam ahead, some people never learn🤣

3 Repliesthis is not an airport you don't have to announce your departure

6 RepliesEvery time pvp changes there is someone just like you. Radical transparency... You're not the first pvp junkie to quit and you won't be the last. Bye bye. The game won't miss you. ~someone tired of pvp whiners who pout if they don't get their way.

35 RepliesControl is a single game mode. Play a different mode to have a different experience. SBMM was implemented to allow for new players and bad players to enjoy themselves. Bungie addressed the issue of lag and queue times by expanding skill brackets. It may as well be CBMM for the majority of players. A quitter minority was ruining games for the majority of players. Bungie fixed that problem by implementing quitter penalties. Certain maps were overplayed. Bungie changed the map weighting to favor a wider variety of maps in the Control playlist. You don't have to announce that you're quitting to "prove" your point. It's juvenile

great feedback

1 ReplyHad a REALLY bad game in control the other day, lagging teleporting players doing double damage, not on radar the whole game was out of bonk, but I had to stay LOL

1 ReplyI 100% agree as far as the penalties for leaving a match go (ESPECIALLY in control). Most of the time when a player quits a pvp match its due to poor matchmaking, and matchmaking is ENTIRELY Bungies purview.

1 ReplyI don’t get the seriousness behind pvp in destiny. The game is stupid easy. No matter what input you play with you’ll have aim assist and bullet magnetism and sticky aim and all sorts of things to make sure you hit your shots. You are on training wheels while playing destiny. There is no point in being prideful about how well you are doing because the game is probably inflating your skill (and ego) by a solid 50% if not more. There’s also a ton of weapons, mods, armor, subclass, and stat variety in the game. Expecting any sort of true balance with so much going on is absolutely insane and I’m surprised pvp is as balanced as it is currently. People just need to accept their skill issues, accept that destiny pvp has been and always will be a goofy gamemode, and just try to have some fun.

List of stupid nerfs/changes/reasons that have led to the demise of pvp" -sliding -AE even being a thing -Special Linears still being totally braindead -pellet shotty nerf -Ability Spam (Said they nerfed it but just turned around and gave us mods to get them back hella quick anyways) They've done some good things like the bow hot swap nerf and many of the changes that go into effect tomorrow will be good, but we've fallen so far from what this used to be. AE needs to be removed ASAP. What a dogwater idea. Let my bullets go where my reticle is. There's nothing oppressive about that.
