Why don’t y’all just buff autos and hand cannons to match up with pulse rifles, your basically taking away some of the high impact frames ability to 2 tap, like no time is literally supposed to do the if you can aim not to mention new purpose and a few others. You guys are literally nerfing the head crit to 34 from 36 and nerfing the bullets spread. You guys are basically just undoing what y’all just buffed them for. Pulse rifles are literally so fun to use now and shouldn’t be nerfed to the bottom of the scale.

Because entire lobbies of pulse rifles make the matches super campy and boring.
-
What I hate most about the patch was that they only did PvP changes. And they talked about 450 autos. I want to use them in PvE so bad, but I can’t because they are awful. Please Bungie do something right

2 RepliesYou don't understand what "weapon balance" means. Pulse rifles have always been good and they will continue to be, even after the nerf. You're freaking out over nothing.

1 ReplyBungie controls the meta. So it’s time for a switch.

Don't Worry, they are just itching to reverse that handcannon range nerf, then 120s will rear there ugly head again -
Edited by yungluke222: 10/14/2022 2:20:28 AMProbably because they are dominating in every range space in the game even the ones they arent intended to be strong in. Not to mention no pulse rifle or handcannon, or any primary weapon outside of shotguns, fusion rifles and special weapons for that matter should be 1, 2, 3 or 4 tapping anyone at any range. The time to kill in this game is so out of hand fire fight engagements are literally only decided by how much damage can my gun push out in the shortest amount of time because only a few different weapons that operate off primary ammo can 3 shot and 2 shot. So it pushes all the other options out and if it cant kill that fast its not worth using. Defeats the purpose of having a large weapon catalog. Defeats the purpose having build and gun diversity. Defeats the purpose of balance. Defeats the purpose of strategy. When guns are killing this fast and things are this imbalanced those using op stuff never stop and think about "should I enage this fight at this range with this weapon". They just engage because they know they can regardless of the range cover or any of that. "My gun is so strong I dont have to think about whether or not I should take the fight I can take it regardless and win".

Edited by Joxxer: 10/13/2022 11:16:06 PMI called for a nerf to NTTE a month ago and everyone told me to gtfo. Now here we are. Next is witherhoard voidzone duration or the warlock lightning slide. Mark my words.

2 Replies*insert Dave Chappelle meme here* That's why.

2 RepliesBecause NTTE has become very popular over the course of the season, and Bungie nerfs weapons based off usage. If one weapon dominates the top spots for too long, it gets smacked.
-
Edited by Chunk: 10/13/2022 4:50:40 PMBungie mentioned ease of use on aggressive and adaptive... Never said numbers.... Probably means range, handling, stability, aim assist, n hitting crits...
-
Ntte has been the top weapon in trials for like 5 weeks in a row, I like pulses but they're too strong right now and as a weapon archetype they tend to promote campy playstyles.
-
1 ReplyWhere are you getting your info from? All they mentioned in the TWAB is a range nerf to low stat pulse rifles, an "ease-of-use" nerf to NTTE, and a buff to adaptive frame pulse rifles.
-
Because they’re too fun. No fun allowed!
-
340s have been set for an adjustment for a while now. It shouldn't really be a surprise.
-
It's bait and switch every season. You should know this by now.
-
I just hope they get a pve buff because of the fact outside of a few they still feel pretty meh and a range nerf will hurt them more in pve than pvp I think.

2 RepliesI feel like the devs don't really know what to do to create a balanced game (honestly neither do I), so the best idea they've got is to keep rotating the meta around every couple of updates.
