Cancelled preorder for lightfall(you should too)
Bungie has shown a general disregard and hard disdain for their own playerbase.
I dont trust Bungie with my time or a liveservice game. If it takes your company years to compile Data that the playerbase already felt on day one then your company is garbage at data collection
I used to main PvP and solo gameplay but Bungie hates PvP focused solo players so there is no content for me. PvP is gross, Bungie’s forced seasonal metas kills the fun for anyone who would like to compete with their own builds
For those that argue that this is a MMO with teamwork focused mechanics id like to point you to all of Bungie’s antisocial questlines
I dont care about raids, never will(I used to be a sherpa, before I realized multi hour raids in an FPS will never be truly fun because there are only so many permutations of “stand here, shoot this”)
The story in D2 is a mishmash of Marvel villains and other bad superhero villains(but maybe WE were the villains all along????!!)
Maybe if Bungie cuts the grind by 2/3rds and proves they can actually handle a live service game ill come back, until then I just dont care anymore
Ill watch some Lore nerd’s video on youtube about any story updates but im not giving money to people who would rather spend hundreds of millions hacking their playerbase’s brains instead of spending time actually making an enjoyable gaming experience that doesnt always leave most people with a sour taste in their mouths on such a consistent basis
Bungie should be put on notice, keep messing with your players’ heads and you may end up with real world problems very soon- and a half-assed charity event wont help the bad pr on your next game, friends

I'm thinking about it very much. Not once in my life have I thought about getting a refund. Because everything I've pre-ordered has come through. But, Cyberbug, LouP2, Anthem...and now Destiny is on the list of "Rethinking". Sucks, really enjoyed the game. Probably going to get kicked out of the clan I'm in since they have a 2 week no show policy. This is definitely a big "WAKE UP!!!".

Never, ever preorder something. There's nothing worse than when a company already has your money and you have no clue what quality product you're going to receive. I personally don't buy videogames anymore until I've seen or read reviews from trusted sources, watched gameplay and checked out how bad bugs and glitches are. But in short never give money upfront. It just enables game producers to release unfinished products and make a profit doing it.

If the last 5yrs of the gaming industry havent taught you pre-ordering always was a stupid idea idk what will. Stop buying a product before youve even seen 1/16th of it, regardless of who makes it.

I’m still enjoying it. Destiny is pretty much the only game I’ve played since D1 Beta. I pre-order every year cause it’s convenient for me. You do you Dolly Boo.

Edited by THE GRIND IS REAL: 10/16/2022 5:45:47 AMWe're all fxxxxd tbh because some players are that invested into destiny and some others just want to know how the story ends, il end up getting it but they sure ain't getting a preorder unless it's on sale before release for atleast less than half the price otherwise I'm good to wait this time for these reasons. iv played long enough to know any new exotic worth using will be nerfed once they have people playing or the same streamers crying for a nerf so it becomes pointless like the new titan gauntlets are or just locked off for a whole season like the helmet last season and gryfalcon chest piece this season being locked off . theyl be a way for streamers to farm the raid exotic and pinnacles in the first 2 weeks so they can get the weapons for videos and then bungie screw everyone else and put it on rotation or decrease drop rate from high to low af like the duality dungeon sword. there will be some weapon other than hc that's shineing in pvp that gets nerfed because sadly some streamers we have for destiny all have neck beards and survive on the hc lol ,same people that never did gms due to light level will still never get to do them, pinnacles will still be dropping as duplicates, vault space is going to be an issue again and last but not least the same toxic elitist that ruin the game will still be leading which way the game goes and gatekeeping content so they can feel special.( on a serious note if the elitist from destiny was in charge of halo 3 noone would have hyabusa armor or the recon set you'd have to play for 90000 hours to be eligible)

Some big, some little, some fat & some skinny, some old, some newb but mostly mindless as all they couldn’t resist a shiny new lure called quicksilver 😂 It’s funny that all you really need to do is dangle a shiny exotic & they bite like crazy… Wonder just how many bungie would of sold p.o without a shiny new exotic! 🤔

Ya but I need that gun...I love that thing and I really love this game so why would I cancel something that I really love to play. There's so freaking much stuff to do that I will never be able to do it all. I just jumped back into the game in the middle of the last season and just fell in love with all of the changes. No way I'm canceling my pre-order. I can't wait to see what the new changes are and I can't wait to chase after all of the new things. Can't Freaking Wait

2 RepliesThis is the first one I didn’t pre order, I play only pvp. Hate strikes, dungeons, and raids. This season ruined pvp for me. SBMM had every match play against the best out there. Every match is just cheesy arbelist or lorenz kills. And if I try and leave a horrible match where I get stuck in part way through I get banned. This time I’m keeping my $100
