Also, getting suspended for leaving at 1 second on the match end timer is idiotic. I got my rewards, XP and glimmer, but the game suddenly can't actually process when the match is over on time?
And what's up with calling Control competitive and giving "competitive" suspensions when it clearly isn't? The lack of awareness is just hilarious this season. Im used to the pvp team being waaaaayyy off base but this is just...wow. 🤣

I beg to differ Riptide and Out Of Bounds are miles better than the garbage that Saint pettles these days -
14 RepliesIf you left a match you get a warning for quitting. If you quit a second time you get the time out suspension. It’s a time out not a ban.

5 RepliesControl is only sweaty if you’re sweaty.

33 RepliesToo many casuals complained so this is what we get stuck with. Quick play shouldn't have SBMM. They should have made Comp worth it again instead

Edited by NotCreative123: 10/12/2022 11:36:20 PMBungie needs to revert the most recent balancing changes and return to the SBMM settings that were present at the start of the season

As a consistent 1.7kda a season player, I can say matches really haven't changed all that much, at least for me... but in reality i feel like I've always faced the most try hard sweaty players ever, but all that's done has made me better because I refused to get stomped and would purposefully go after those players. Truly the only way to get better is to fight people better then you, i wasnt that good until i purposefully went after better players. now i can piss off even top .02% of players, i might not win every time but i make them work for it and they hate it. I kept getting matched up against a super sweaty toxic 3 stack who ballhugged each other every game last night while I ran solo, even messaged me saying thanks for the freebie for the first game. Mind you i had just gotten off work and it was only a casual warm up game for me. waited until 3rd game (I threw the 2nd cause they were on my team lol, they were not happy) where i was matched against them again and unleashed my fury upon them. Wiped out all 3 of them at the beginning of the match then bullied them the rest of the game. The butthurt was splendid. My best advice is this... don't even bother winning the match, just make sure you piss off the best players on those teams... cause that's how you know you're doing decent. Getting t bagged is a good sign 😅🤣😂

It doesn’t matter, no matter what change happens pvp will always be in hell, it’s Sod’s Law.

They put sb in casual gamemodes, it's so backwards it's only bungie that could mess it up so bad.

Not played a single game since the Bungie Banwagon went live. Glad I'm missing it.

11 RepliesAs long as SBMM is in Control....it will be Competitive 6v6 with Zero Reward.
-
11 RepliesYou have a cbmm mode and it even rotates every week so why you complaining
-
10 RepliesSaid this on the forums back when SBMM was added - 100% of the effort with 0% of the reward. But you can't except the casuals to care.

3 Replies3-5min lobbys is a big problem. Theirs also a skill-bandwidth that Bungie mis-identifys as "skilled". Im speaking of course about players that sit all the way back with a pulse or scout & never push. Combine this with a rotation of maps that favor these weapon & play style arc-types, its slow, boring, & the lowest skill ceiling Ive ever seen. They need to remove AE so players are rewarded for pushing & playing aggressive.

1 ReplyYou couldn’t have waited that final second? What exactly are you gaining by leaving one second early?

Played today , all the players with high kill counts using all the cheese ….people who use La Monarque are lame 😂

Edited by Cal O'Mari: 10/11/2022 8:13:30 AMI feel like Control is nowhere near as sweaty as it was before. Its much more competitive now, it can be a little sweaty sometimes, but not usually. Before it was no contest on one side or the other, just always some sweatfest blowout. I'm able to hold and defend points now, as well as use many other weapons beyond the meta, though I've got my usuals of course. Trials is still disgusting. I've been hard procrastinating, even though I want the bow, but I'm really not sure if its worth it. Maybe I'll get ambitious enough, eventually. Its as bad as ever though. Maybe its a bracket thing? I don't know.

Its not if you run with people below your skill level I feel like I lowered the difficulty from normal to very easy -
If ppl would quitvtaking it so serious it wouldn't be that way.

Edited by Adam_Clockwork: 10/10/2022 8:46:54 PMIts more funny when you realize Bungie keeps ignoring SBMM exploits that people are abusing right now. If I remember, and they haven't even fix it yet you join on someone who has less SBMM ranking than you, and you will join off their SBMM matches with yours not even mattering till you both are on the same Skill level. People are still abusing this now, and Bungie will never notice till someone clearly tells them, and show them proof.

Its sweaty because EVERYONE wants to lane instead of pushing up to the heavy or Control point. And then lag, no aim assist micro-rubberbanding is crazy. Control can be a lonely place at times.

2 RepliesI e had a few rough games tbh.. I left a game cause I was grtting thorn damage before I saw the guy come round the corner and shoot me (I'm on pc and they had a ps player making the whole game terribly d-sync). So I loaded another game and my son needed me for something, so I just popped upstairs to help. Came back and was kicked due to inactivity- fair enough) but then got a time out lol. At this point, any reaction to destiny is just me rolling my eyes.

7 RepliesWe should make a stand.. We want same rewards for winning 35 games of control than what you would get from trials.. it’s a lot harder in control with 6 enemies of equal skill trying to kill you than 3 players.
