Kills with Seasonal Weapons don't count towards Sails of the Shipstealer-Quest
The quest step says to kill combatants with seasonal weapons. Equipped are: Pizzicato-22, Brigand's Law and Planck's Stride. I had 90 kills in an Expedition and 69 in a Ketchcrash just before. Required are 100 killed combatants, those in Expedition and Ketchcrash count more. My quest progress however is only at 6 kills despite having played both modes exclusively with Season of the Plunder weapons.
Anyone got a solution to this?

Pizzicato isn't a 'seasonal weapon', the wording for that is poor, but consistently poor, I'd say. 'Seasonal weapon' means the weapons that come exclusively from the season's activities. So this season it is Planck's Stride, Sailspy Pitchglass, Brigand's Law, Tarnished Mettle, No Reprieve, Blood Feud. World drop weapons introduced this season like Pizzicato, Taipan-4FR, seasonal ritual weapons like Cry Mutiny, Raid weapons like Doom of Chelchis, are not 'seasonal weapons' despite having a Season of Plunder icon. Did you get the bulk of the kills with Pizzicato? Try putting one of the six seasonal weapons in each slot and see if that helps. I got my kills with Brigand's Law.

Edited by ADragonWithin: 10/8/2022 1:49:51 PMPlease play Ketchcrash or Expedition until you get a gun from it that isn't a Season Pass gun, and then use that to get some kills. All weapons introduced this season are not considered Season Weapons for the sake of Sails of the Shipstealer; it's specifically the weapons introduced as part of and exclusive to the season questline activities, so it has to be a weapon received from the Ketchcrash or Expedition playlist, and the two Season Pass weapons don't seem to count.
