Yo is the touch of malice even dropping?
I’ve done the raid each week for 7 straight a total of 21 plus a couple for triumphs etc. but out of those 21 first character runs and completions no touch? Isn’t there supposed to be bad luck protection past 10 or 20?
I know people that I’ve sherpa’d that got it on their first run.
I also know people that have gotten it 3 times.
Ever since VOW came out alongside duality, the exotic weapons have gotten stingier to obtain. I usually get the weapons in a couple of runs for sure under 10 runs, yet heart shadow, collective obligation, I received after 20 runs and have yet to grab the touch from KF yet.
The worst thing is having to wait each week for the chance to not get it.

LOOOOOOOL You’re joking right? 21 completions is nothing. It took me 80+ for eyes and 60 for vex Mytho.

4 RepliesWhere does it say it's guaranteed after 21 clears? I would not complain until I got to 100 clears. That's how many clears some need for eot or vex....

To my knowledge, the only one that has bad luck protection and only if you complete the full raid, not just the final encounter, is VOG.

I kid you not I have hard carried 3 people and on their first completion they get it. It always feels good that the people you ask to sit in middle and just add clear get the best RNG. Idk the guys that got it are really cool guys and probably have a surplus of good karma built up but it just kind of stings that you do most the work and get the smallest prize. ( For example: let your friend copy your homework and he gets an A+ and you get a D-) you're happy for him but still bummed out.

Yeah. It's a sh** system now. Started with vog. I hate the raid exotic drop rate. At least touch is trash now. I don't care about it.

My mother dislikes scouts My father didn't care for touch of malice My friends gave theirs too. Me? 17 clears, no touch. At this point I wouldn't be excited if I get it on Tuesday. I'm just getting clears because I can.

Rng gods. Back in D1 I did like 40 VOG raids on each of my three Warlocks never got Vex gave up on raids pretty much after that.

So I guess drop chances are different for everyone. But with my experience, they’ve all dropped from a full clear.

8 RepliesRemember the typical raid exotic drop rate starts around 3-5%. You then gain 1% bad luck protection each week on your 1st account clear. So your RNG drop chance should be around 10-12% Just because you see others with it doesn't mean anything.

2 RepliesFeel your pain bro. I'm total 32 clears. I'm at point where I'm starting to hate the raid. I hate when it ends up like this. Was same for 1k and EOT. Those took ages and essentially ruined my enjoyment of said raids. The issue I have is that for duality that system they put in place where completing triumphs to increase percentage chance to obtain the sword was great. Seems like a missed opportunity to make that feature a mainstay. Additionally bungie hasn't even confirmed if touch has bad.luck protection or not. Everyone is guessing at this point

Completed my 9th run yesterday and Malice dropped for a fireteam member. 1st time I’ve seen it drop period. Running KF and not getting high stat armour or the exotic drop is getting old. I had 27 clears of this raid in D1. Had just about enough of this rehashed raid in all honesty. Not rewarding enough in D2.

3 RepliesI've seen it way too much to not believe this but I feel that drop rates adjust according to time played. Atleast until your first exotic drops.

It really is random, though I hate that it is only a pinnacle drop. Took me 13 tries to get ToM and still don't have any of the others from raids. Got Shadowheart on my first run then another 2 weeks later and 2 of my friends have done Duality over 20 times and still haven't gotten it to drop.
