Clan name changed 3 times by Bungie
Over the past year my clans name has been forcibly changed three times by bungie. Our clan name has always had the word Nut somewhere in it (i.e. The Nut Legion which we were until today) because our discord is a[b] legume themed[/b] discord server. Literally all the roles are different types of nuts, channels have nut pun names, etc. I understand that "nut" can have various connotations, but it should not be considered to violate the Code of Conduct in any of the ways we used it. I have logs that can prove all our past names were not used in a way that violates the conduct.
Would really love a ninja or bungie mod to tell me what the issue is here because we are tired of it.
Quick edit: The reason given when the change was issued was that our name violated the “-blam!- explicit” portion of the code of conduct. The word nut is not -blam!- explicit. Bungie is implying that nut is being used -blam!- (our discord proves we are not). By IMPLYING something it means it is implicit, not explicit, so nut is still not -blam!- explicit.

Yes, your clan name was banned, but it was because of the clan's other fields. For example, your motto, for several iterations of your clan's existence, has been, "Nice Nuts!" or "Nice Legumes!" And the description most recently has been, "Just a clan that loves legumes (:" a few times. All of these are innuendos, and innuendos are against our Code of Conduct. I recommend that your clan founder stop adding innuendos to your clan information, otherwise, the bans will continue and get longer. This thread is locked.

I dont like it, but the fact that bungie out here striking our clan name meanwhile there are all these suggestive names that are clearly referencing more explicit content, something like "insert character names anatomy pic's". meanwhile people are out here assuming that "Nut" is in reference to balls or -blam!- but it honestly isn't. Every role, As op stated is a form of nut. Peanuts Pine nuts Baru nuts Almonds Chest nuts Anything that is a FOOD related NUT is all it is.
