Not reading that but the pyramids haven't done anything since 2017 at all
English
-
did you play beyond light or witch queen?
-
Yeah and the pyramids did nothing in those Dlcs. Beyond light it just sat there and was added so bungie could have a way for us to get a new super. Wq it did nothing. Was just for a raid other than that it served no purpose. The darkness has done nothing
-
it wasn’t the fleet, but we directly communicated with the pyramids in their own way. the end of shadowkeep also comes to to mind
-
exactly they've done nothing but talk to us

Edited by emp strqnding: 10/7/2022 2:59:19 PMi see where you are coming from, in terms of actual concrete action they have been very reserved (apart from vooping our moons away lol) but to me the action of communicating from an entity as powerful and old represents a very significant action. a “setting of the chessboard” their weapon right now is temptation, with the goal of either subjugating us or turning us against each other. it’s a subtle invasion, that’s what’s insidious and cool about it. the big plays are coming, all of this is leading up to it
-
Doubt it considering there's one dlc left for them to do something and build up before the end of darkness. They haven't done one thing to solidify themselves as a threat. Temptation isn't much considering oryx, eramis etc all tried to tempt us

Jdniscool, emp strqnding, please don't waste your time on this person. If they're so lazy as to not take 5 minutes out of their day to read through something that's literally the size of a regular lore tab, they're obviously not interested in the story whatsoever; and because they don't have the volition to further learn of it, they're not going to listen to you no matter how hard you bang your head against the wall.

Appreciate the pep talk
-
lol i appreciate the concern, just thought i’d fire off an easy question
-
Tell that to the sunset planets and dead NPC’s.
-
All done because they were useless and pyramids were used as an excuse for why they were being removed
-
You try coming up with something better.
-
I actually agree with them in regards to the pyramids being used as a convenient excuse to vault the planets at that point in the story, because if you think about the ramifications of it, it really doesn't make sense in the current context. For example, if The Witness has been en-route to Sol ever since the Red War's conclusion, then how come those five pyramids arrived ahead of the primary fleet? Doesn't this mean that the Black Fleet's entirety should've been at our doorstep come Season of Arrivals? What reason would The Witness have for stalling? You have to admit, Bungie definitely could've came up with something better in order to explain the planets' disappearance; but on that same note, do bear in mind that we haven't yet seen the exact reason as to why the pyramids took them in the first place. It's being used to serve a future plot point.
-
The darkness took them corrupted them and used them as vessels for power and as a super weapon to use gravity to rip the traveller apart bam simple easy and better than the solution of the darkness landed on them because we are removing them. Not hard to write a good simple idea literally just did one in five seconds
-
Well, the Traveler might get destroyed in Lightfall
-
It won't it'll stay alive until the end of destiny
