It just seems really dumb that we can't work on a quest offered by Xur, by doing a activity hosted by Xur (and Starhorse).

Edited by Scratch: 10/2/2022 11:43:10 PMIt's weird having a completed Xenology quest and going to Xür in Eternity to turn it in but he's like, "Shhhhhh..... Not so loud. Be cool man. Wadda, trying to get me fired? If the horse sees me doing this, I'm gonna get busted, look.... meet me up a tree on Friday" I think Xür's stealing from the gameshow and selling the hot goods on the weekends is his side hustle.

5 RepliesEdited by ITZ Baddy: 10/2/2022 11:20:53 PMAll activities should count as progress. I made a post about this earlier. Same thing with exotic catalysts. When those exotics were released, most current activities didn't exist. Bungo constantly stays behind the times Also should be included Empire hunts Nightmare hunts Dungeons Raid encounters Lost sectors Difficulty levels should count more towards it The list is dang near endless. To limit the progress towards the quest to just 3 activities is asinine and yet another example of Bungo's demonstrative lack of ability to pay any attention to the game whatsoever.

If you grinded DoE to get all the loot during the 30th anniversary release - then doing DoE now should be triple exp, triple drops, & a guaranteed deepsight drop. DoE was mind-numbingly boring when it released.
-
LMAO How many have you done?? Got to grind this out. Run it like the rest of the community.

2 RepliesAlso playing Gambit should count period. Not just the games you win.

1 ReplyThis game has had consistency issues since D1. Bungie is totally aware of it too. I believe I have read in TW@Bs before that they explain it as "experimenting with what works" (my interpretation, not actual quote)

I get what you’re saying, and I agree. What I find really weird is that raids aren’t included in it.
-
1 ReplyIt should be just 20 activities, win or lose.
-
1 ReplyI agree, considering dares of Eternity is almost the same as a ritual activity. It's a playlist. And it's the only activity without a guaranteed deep site red border first week completion.
-
It should just count for any matchmaking activities that you do.
-
1 ReplyVery true. It should count for those seasonal exotic catalyst quests too.
-
Agreed but not because Xur is there. But because the quest is somewhat tedious and repetitive and more options/variety to complete it would be very welcomed.

At least Clan points.

Myself personally think that ANY matchmaking activity must give us progress.
