Using the Bungie website fireteam search function has gotten me many raids. When I do the raid first time I always go for groups with "willing to teach", "teaching" and "chill" titles. I've had a very positive experience from it. I've had one raid that was a bit negative. The leader was a bit short and didn't seem to want to explain too much. However the other four members of my team were all experienced and took over the reigns and helped out with explaining. So in short, my suggestions is use the fireteam search function on the website, but also consider joining a clan and a LFG Discord group. Don't be shy, if people aren't nice, you can always excuse yourself and dip out.

  • This. Exactly this. Look for the teaching chill etc. But REMEMBER it is an absolute necessity to always be honest and not stay quiet. Any group in all of lfg that doesn’t has KWTD in the title is perfect to join if you don’t know the raid yet. 99% of the time if you are completely honest and say you don’t know what to do or you’ve only watched videos on it, most of the people who are making lfgs without stupid requirements would love to help and teach you. For most people the frustration of having someone that is new is t that they’re new, it’s that they don’t come forward if someone asks if people don’t understand something or if you need to be taught. If they kick you because you don’t know what to do, it’s probably a good thing because they are probably not gonna be enjoyable to play with. Put yourself out there, be honest, look for the keywords in titles and your golden. Good luck and hope you get clears!
