I just boot em from the fireteam

22 RepliesBunch of entitled griefers in here acting like it's all in good fun when it comes at someone else's expense. Bet they hate it when something inconveniences them. Here's an idea to those that like seeing a guardian plummet or rammed to their death. Send YOURSELF off a cliff with shoulder charge or eager edge. You can watch your own guardian die over and over to your hearts content. What? That's not fun or funny to you? So you admit your joy comes from others grief?

1 ReplyJust smoke a bowl and let them finish the rest of the activity by themselves if they wanna be worthless teammates

3 RepliesAnother "I'm upset over nothing, ban these people" post Move on people

Fix this or disable it. This is so messed up and ban people who do this kind of stuff.
Yeah, dude. This is the kind of shit Bungo should be wasting their time on. Bungo will disable it at some point and then you crybabies will have to find something else to screech about. I know you all will have no issues doing that.

2 RepliesHow this is a thing is beyond me. I don’t think I’ve even been killed by it. I play quite a bit so I don’t really understand how this is a post every other day.

You'll live lol

I just hate the whole sword flying thing in general.

Edited by CRADLE MOUNTAIN: 10/1/2022 2:25:19 PMLook at the responses. A lot of very sad ones. Give yourself some comfort by knowing that they will still be this childish in 10 years. They won’t change. Welcome to online gaming. Where the anonymous factor can put such people’s arrogance on steroids. Block them and move on, they’re a waste of your time.

9 RepliesRight? Damn trolls. And those defending it “ItS fUnNy HuR HuR”. No, it’s annoying and you’re intentionally ruining someone else’s game time by doing it. Easily half the bounties I grab are ones that need done without dying.

5 RepliesShould really just make it so players can't physically interact with each other if they aren't in a fireteam. But I imagine that if this was easy, they would've done so by now. Destiny has got that spaghetti code. The type where they compile it and go "Code works, don't know why.". Eager Edge to other trolls, or toxic players is deserved. Eager Edge to your friends is a good laugh. Eager Edge to a random person that is just trying to get their chores done is lame af. Don't be that person.

Oh man, you're missing out

We had a troll eager edge kill one of us at daughter's on a flawless run 🏃♀️🏃♀️
-
I just report them for griefing and move on. If a player gets reported enough, Bungie will take action.

65 RepliesYou can at least take some satisfaction in knowing that this type of person probably has little or no power over anything real in their life and not much else going for them. Why else would they do it constantly?

10 RepliesI must say I am quite surprised how negative the community is in the comment section. Personally I am one of the original shoulder charge titans when the game first launched. So I am not innocent, but I did target clan mates only. Five years later I don't get the big whoop. Especially considering the main killing I see are in random fireteams and raids against strangers. I just ignore it and I don't see the funny side of it when you're doing it to someone you don't know. That is the difference between joking around and griefing.

16 RepliesGrow up. You wiln survive. worst case you lose a few seconds

1 ReplyGet them back when the fireteam ranking system becomes a thing...
-
I had my experience with it Bad and good But it’s quite annoying having a player try kill you every step of the way, in a strike They were in a fireteam I was the single player, so they were not gonna target each other so I was the main target, but it didn’t stop me but my god, it’s annoying to constantly try fight your own team mates

Make your own lfgs. Kick eager nubs. Kick em again when they rejoin.

1 ReplyI think this is a good thing. Personally I would rather these individuals, who are to be pitied rather than scorned, do this rather than go out and inflict themselves on other people in the real world. We've all met them, the tedious dribbles that walk out into the road, right in front of the car, with their heads buried in their phones. The ones that then shout at you because to them, the world exists to get out of their way. Just look below, full of comments from people who can count to potato all lining up to say that they are now going to run off and try this. Or whining that people, for reasons incomprehensible to them, just don't like being idiot magnets. The hard of thinking have something else to amuse themselves with now instead of running you over with their sparrow. Because to them, this kind of thing is like, just like, so funny. It's what they have instead of friends, a social life, and getting to touch people's naughty bits. So I say let them do it. Its a small price to pay.

1 ReplyEdited by neonsox42: 9/30/2022 11:15:41 PMI give it a few months before the perk is completely changed just because some people don’t know when to quit. It’s funny the first few times but repeated killing (when the other person doesn’t know it’s just a joke like on an lfg team and not your friends) I’m pretty sure counts as griefing. It’ll be something that a few people ruined for everyone. Don’t take it personally the first few times, but if it keeps happening: report them. I’d rather not lose one of the most fun perks in the game just because people don’t know when to stop.

8 RepliesEasy fix. Remove player collision.

My group likes to battle with our swords while doing the ship jumping puzzle in Kings Fall. It's always a good laugh.
