I'd like some breakdown of how this works. I know ELO isn't the value but looking back at my games last night I'm perplexed on the fact that I was seeing 400 point differences even on games we won where we had that advantage. It's solo queue, if one person had been swapped then the teams would be more even. I'm just at a loss with understanding how these teams get put together. Is there favoritism to help someone go flawless in the matchmaking? It just looks really odd for a solo queue. Thanks.

3 RepliesYou don't understand Trials. Trials is a hard core pvp mode made to challenge the best pvp players in the game. There is no skill based matchmaking and should never be as it is against the spirt of the game mode. The only skill based matchmaking is players THEMSELVES deciding that they are good enough to play. If you want to go to the Lighthouse you have to prove you are worthy by defeating all opposition no matter what skill level they are. Bungie has made it easier for players to play Trials and get rewards BUT they will only hold your hand so far.
