To Bungie: Heart of Inmost Light NEEDS a new ornament.
Dear Bungie,
It has been too long since a favorite Titan exotic of mine and many others, Heart of Inmost Light, has recieved a new ornament. In Season 8, we were introduced to the Bronze Carapace ornament. It has now been 10 seasons with nothing new, and the looks are hard to pull off.
Bungie, this exotic NEEDS a new ornament. Here are a few things most players find wrong:
1. The shading. The shading is all wrong. I put on Envious Touch and expect the most prominent part of the chestpiece to have the grooves and lines, not flat bronze or off-putting white plate from the Carapace ornament. Not to mention some shaders make it just... ugly. People would also love to see the glows change color with shaders!
2. The lack of fashion versatility. Like shaders in a sense, it's very limiting. No options for style and you essentially have to "fashion" your way around it.
This exotic needs a new ornament. Festival of The Lost is coming, the Dawning is coming too! Lightfall? Delicious. Perfect time for something new! My suggestion would be to take the name of the exotic literally:
A. An ornament that tears the chest open and reveals a glowing heart of light; or a ribcage-like grooving that you can see the heart through.
B. A tactical or technologically enhanced ornament for Lightfall. Wires, maybe tubes flowing with light?
And of course; shaderable colors of the light. Also, why not reintroduce the Helm of Inmost Light as a pairing Legendary ornament in Eververse?
These are a small amount of suggestions, but I'm sure that the community and many Titans will agree when I say this needs to happen! Please make more fashion options! Please share this post if you agree, let's spread the word! #NewHOILOrnament!
