Since you’re a top 90% elo player, SBMM benefits you because you get paired with other blueberries. I’m not sure what your point is about the rewards though. If the game gave everyone the same rewards, then what incentive do you have to improve?

    I’m saying that if someone says GMs are too easy, it’s just petty because for the largest part of the community they’re not easy. People are just salty because someone else gets the same adept weapon even though they’re not as good a player as they are. Similar in PvP but not the same. People are gatekeeping the non-flawless pool bc they can’t stand the idea of other people going flawless even though they’re not a 2.0 kd top 1% player. Yet they feel entitled to stomp on said players in control bc apparently that’s considered having a good time. Also, if 90% of the players benefit from SBMM, why is this even a discussion? And I’m not getting matched with Blueberries.

I agree reward structure should be miles better for all PvP and not just control. But the same people complaining about no incentive didn't complain when it was CBMM. So it makes me question the real reason for the complaint
