Sweeping apology
To anyone that recently grouped with me in expeditions.
Yes, I was throwing engrams away, in the wrong direction. I would swoop in front of you snag them and throw them away. I feel bad that some of you felt you had to chase them to the ends of Europa to try to reclaim them.
Please understand, by doing this I was able to get a ruffian on each of the stops (at least 2 per expedition, sometimes up to 4) as this was my intent. By throwing engrams to the haul to quickly you can cause them to not spawn, or even despawn before being killed.
If you want to blame someone for this, please send feedback to Bungie.
and for Bungie - Please stop designing goals and activities that force us to compete / sabotage each other in such a fashion in order to get this completed.

10 RepliesYeah, not okay at all by any means. You're to blame, don't shift it. You have in game communication, use it. If you don't get the OK, don't do it OR get a clan and do it with them. I got it without throwing stuff away intentionally along with my teamies who I RANDOMLY joined not doing it either. Sorry you're impatient and needed this triumph immediately and fail at basic aspects of the game.

15 RepliesBump, i do not understand bungie’s obsession with counter intuitive goals. Obviously it has been complained about hundreds of times over the years and obviously bungie is doing it on purpose. You would think by now they would instead choose to brainstorm ideas that reinforced cooperative play. Supposedly they want us to find friends because their game is meant to be played that way and yet most of their co-op content is designed to make us compete. It almost seems like they are trolling us. At the very least it is disrespectful to their consumers.

There's always something to take away from every situation. In this case, it's to never make apologies. It's putting blood in the water over something that probably got forgotten a matter of minutes later. Disclaimer: Definitely does not apply to serious grievances.

Why do you think there is no firewalled strikes, players competing with each other for bounties and triumphs is how Bungie inflates play time Luckily I am on Playstation and have PvE Activities all to myself, I already have all the seasonal patterns, and over 300 ruffians(even though I only care about the 50 for the seal) -

This game is fun don’t get me wrong, but these developers have to be some of the most tone deaf, corny, insight lacking group of creators ever put on display. The amount of mini corrections that should be made to reduce the redundancy of the crappy seasonal grind/farm is insane.

It’s sad that people don’t know how, or can’t be bothered, to get the Champions in Expedition. They are the same ones -blam!- about needing 50 for the weekly mission probably.
