Deepsight Resonance extraction glitch
In case you’re not aware, there is a MAJOR glitch with your Deepsight Resonance extraction. Today I saw that I needed 3 extractions for Sailspy Pitchglass and one for Taipan-4fr. I had the weapons in my vault (deepsight available) so carried them with me while I did the daily weapons bounties. After completing the deepsight requirements, then extracting them, I went to see what else needed unlocking and realized only 2 of the Sailspy counted toward “pattern completion”. The Taipan didn’t count either. I thought that maybe the game screwed me because my Relic Tether was full. I checked, but it was under 5000 resonant elements, so THAT isn’t the problem.
As seldom as current season deepsight weapons drop, this is really fubar.

My complaint is 1) the stupid cap of 10,000 on resonance elements and 2) continuously getting worthless deepsight resonance weapons (like empty vessel or dead weight) or continuing to get weapons after you’ve already extracted. C’mon Bungie. Lift the cap and prioritize dropping weapons players don’t have.

3 RepliesI can't speak for the Sailspy, but both the new AR and Taipan (the two weapons you get as part of the crafting tutorial this season) will still allow you to craft them despite showing 1/2 extractions. It's a visual bug only. If you can't craft Taipan after learning this, that would be the first I've seen of it.

I thought I got screwed like this on that new solar 450 auto. My collection tab still shows me at 1/2 but I able to craft one anyway.

So many frame trackers don’t update. However you can actually craft the weapons if you completed the required number of pattern extraction. Like it’s going to show 3/5 or 1/2, but you can actually craft the weapons. Yeah I know we would prefer to have this undergraduate level of bugs already fixed, but it’s still better than Bungie’s traditional bugs where we would have the 5/5 or 2/2 and not be able to craft the weapons.

I’ve had probably 3-4 Taipans and only 1 counted on the deepsight thing. I was actually able to craft it though. Check and see if you can craft it too because chances are you’ll be able to. As for the others, RIP ;(. Haven’t seen bungo update these on their known issues thing.

I think it's because you need to complete the associated quest from the enclave forge

I’ve had this happen a couple times. Once on a vow weapon and also on two season of the haunted weapons. I’m sure bungie has been aware of it but who knows when they’ll patch it or if they ever will. Doesn’t seem to be a priority for them🤷♂️
