Does Variks canonically have a speech impediment?
Spider speaks normal
Eido speaks normal
Mithrax speaks normal
Variks clicks his tongue and speaks strange.
Why does Variks sound so weird? Any lore nerds care to explain this?

If you listen closely you will be able to tell Misraaks speaks similar as well, and so do other eliksni in the lore. This could be due to the fact that each House has an accent. Variks lived with House Wolves and so did Misraaks, so they have a House Wolves accent. Hope this helped! (Side note, The clicking part is never explained, and the wheezing is probably from when Phylaks crushed Variks’s throat in the lore.) Edit: The people mentioning Spider’s line about Variks faking an accent: this is pretty much a lie. Variks dulled himself down a bit in the Reef in D1 but he does not fake any accent. Spider is just inflammatory and unfortunately, the community decided to trust his claim.
