Ok so I played Gruntpocalypse the other day and when I pressed the back button to check the skulls, I noticed a skull called "Red". The description said as follows "Red, Customizable Cranium". Anybody wanna tell me what this skull really does?

It's customizable. In Gruntpocalypse, it's configured to set AI vision to "eagle eye", hearing to "sharp", luck to "leprechaun", and "shootiness" to "marksman". That's how they spot you, and shoot you, from halfway across the map. You can have up to three custom skulls for your custom Firefight matches, allowing you to set traits that can change over time with the skull progression. You can set the following as skulls: For the players, and player-controlled Firefight Versus Elites: damage resistance, overshield, shield and/or health recharge rate, immunity to headshots and/or assassinations, damage modifier, melee modifier, infinite ammo/bottomless clip, weapon pickup disabled/enabled, armor abilities disabled/enabled/infinite, speed, jump height, gravity, vehicle use restrictions, motion tracker range, motion tracker mode (disabled, normal, or no-motion-required), active camo, waypoint visibility, name visibility, and forced color. Basically the same stuff you can set in custom games. For the AI enemies: damage modifier, damage resistance, "shootiness" ("Trigger Happy", normal, or "Marksman"), grenade frequency, vision, hearing, luck, immunity to headshots and/or assassinations, and whether they drop equipment.

its a custom skull in gruntpocalypse it makes them more accurate better sighted and better at hearing

Go look in the Firefight menu, it's a customizable skull. You can for example change how the enemies shoot, (marksman, trigger happy) how lucky (very lucky, leprechaun), how good they can see. (good eyesight, eagle eye.)

There's custom skulls under firefight game options that allow you to edit things like AI effectiveness, player traits, all sorts of stuff.

It's just a customizable skull. You can edit the behavior of NPCs as well as a couple of other features (Ammo and shields, for example). [Edited on 11.01.2010 3:36 PM PDT]

It's customizable. You can change certain settings on it (Infinite ammo, can't die, etc) under Custom Skull settings and turn it on.
