If you used a third party website or discord server for finding the group you can probably get the person who kicked you banned from that. But you can’t be banned in game for doing it. This is why I recommend making your own group when doing anything lfg, that way you don’t have to worry about being kicked and you have control over who joins your team. That or join a good clan.

2 Repliesreason # 47,392,144 to never LFG raids, why raid matchmaking is a ridiculously idiotic idea, and why joining a clan or having friends to play with on a consistent basis is the way to go.
-
sadly the person who does this doesn't get banned. I've reported a guy doing it on stream with 400+ viewers all reporting him as he is laughing his butt off, not get banned he still does it and doesn't even get a slap on the wrist by bungie
-
This happened to me in House or Wolves right after beating Skolas. I added him to my friend list. And one day I’ll be able to get my revenge somehow. Some way.
-
No. Is it crappy...yes.
-
Exactly why my clan host. I don't do stupid crap like that even if I believe or feel a player wasn't up to par, that's just a scummy and crappy thing to do especially if you been at it for hours. Sorry this happened to you, some guardians are just evil pure and simple.
-
Yes but I’m sure MANY unique grief reports are required for a punishment to happen and it’s probably minor such as a 1 week raid ban.
-
Was the chat called Toxic Chat and the player had the word Gold in his name?
-
Report it and it’s a low thing for anyone to do to another player. If there’s a history they should get a ban.
-
2 RepliesIt is. There is a report option for that exact thing.
-
3 Replies
because this dude has done it so many times
and yet you keep joining with them?

It simply should not be possible. There should be a reasonable window of opportunity to kick. After then anyone kicking at or near a final encounter is worse than anything the ousted player could have done. They've implemented this in other games, such as Outriders. It's common sense where there are an unfortunate percent of petty, toxic, immature players.
-
Probably not but it should be reported and frowned upon.
-
It should be.
-
Would hope so
-
It's reportable. That's griefing. Will they get banned for one incident of griefing someone? Probably not.
-
Vow of the Disciple is by far the most toxic raid in the history of Destiny, for whatever reason. I've attempted many times but don't have patience for angry virgins being disrespectful to other players.
-
I want to know why people even do this, not even just in destiny either. It doesnt make sense and you get absolutely nothing out of it other than a minuscule guess as to what someones reaction to it is
-
If it is not. It should be. I would let them know.
-
That is horrible, sorry you had to go through that!
-
Technically it falls under griefing.
-
1 ReplyIf he has done it many times.... Then why do you join him?
-
I had someone try this with a nightfall, luckily they were too slow. Theoretically the new guardian rating system should help, but since there aren't negative ratings it probably won't.

On the one hand, dude sounds like a proper dbag. On the other, Rhulks not that hard a fight. You can get that cleared easy 😁
