With the most recent and unexpected nerf to the titan helmet “Loreley”. All I have to say is that I am disappointed in Bungie. I thought that Bungie was turning each class into the typical MMO RPG role characteristics like, “Tank, Healer, Dmg, Support, etc”; Hunters the Support, Warlocks with Healing, Titans the Tank, but I guess I was wrong. I completely understand the reasoning of something getting a nerf if in the instance of something being able to one shot a endgame boss, but that is not the case here. Loreley was a strong exotic and yes we can all agree on this, but this exotic only performed so well was when a multitude of things where applied with the Helmet. Thus Allowing you to tank so much dmg, But because of the popularity of this exotic this has resulted in a nerf. I have never understood this reasoning by dev’s. Instead of removing/ changing something entirely to where it is essentially useless, why not add to its current functionality? Like making it into more of a Tank role exotic. Current: Cauterizing Flame- When you are critically wounded with full class ability energy, or when you cast a barricade, create a Sunspot at your location that has improved restoration. New: Cauterizing Flame- When you are critically wounded with full class ability energy, or when you cast a barricade, create a Sunspot at your location that has improved restoration and pull the attention of all enemies in a 30m radius to attack you for the duration of your Restoration. (creates a 30m aura around you making All enemies including bosses to attack you for the duration of your restoration being up. You will have massive heals, but will have to contend with a lot of dmg from adds and bosses attacking you)
