There is no realistic reason to even nerf a weapon that most people don’t have. Plus even with the weapon available not even a considerable amount of people even completed the raid day one. Even now people are still struggling to beat bosses in raids with a div player. If div was to get nerf just imagine how toxic or hard it would for the casual players that bungie loves so much to join a lfg group and not have god roll pve weapons. Even though div is not a requirement I understand that players don’t want to spend hours on end trying to pass an encounter. So nerfing div plus have players that don’t have god roll pve weapons or just good weapons in general will just make joining a group so much harder for the casual pve player. So honestly this idea of nerfing a weapon that most people don’t have or that help people complete raids is just stupid. If anything bungie needs to focus on network throttling not this stupid idea by some random streamer or whatever.

2 RepliesEdited by DHawk12: 9/12/2022 11:57:41 AMBecause the game is far too easy for the top 0.01% pve players. They want a harder challenge but don’t want others to have a easier time doing the same activity.

He wants to get rid of the competition.

27 Replies47% of the playerbase has div So yeah a lot of people owns it
-
7 RepliesLet me list what div does. Gives the biggest debuff Gives the debuff that lasts the longest Gives the debuff that you have the most access to. Makes the crit rate of every weapon 100% That isn't balanced.
-
Because some elitists want the game to be harder so only they can own certain weapons/emblems/ships.

The utube guru as always. There is one as he explains the problem. He has the perfect fireteam, perfect setup, perfect everything so feels Divinity is making thing easy...for who? Done a lfg lately? Absolutely toxic with kings fall. God forbid we ease the pain on a weapon how many years old....I bet the do it..cmon its Bungie:) If they dont....nevermind they will. Lol

Because it's funny to scream about streamers ruining the game

2 RepliesThe thing is all these discussions are from a guy stating is opinion. Bungie is still silent on the topic, so I don’t really understand what all this fuss is about. Sending hate towards Salt only bring the question to the forefront. If you disagree just say so and move on, like all mature people do. I personally think Div is the last of D2 list of balance changes to be made. The gun is raid exotic with a decently difficult quest to complete for it to be obtained, so it’s ok it’s this powerful. Also Bungie could easily meet both worlds and ban it for the world’s first raid race only. Problem solved

2 RepliesI think Salt just needs to do a raid with the worst players on lfg and come back with his thoughts. But he cant use his adept timelost or gm guns cause normal players dont have those. He has to only use guns a casual player would be able to consistantly get. He also cant use his account so he can experience players who have 0 idea what they are talking about start barking bad plays that wastes everyones time. Pretty much he needs to come down from his little throne of tryhard and actually see how it feels for the rest of us.

3 Repliesmy tinfoil hat says that streamers are bringing it up just to get it nerfed. The more discussion about it, the more likely bungie is going to swing the hammer.

Edited by flounder102bass: 9/12/2022 3:31:28 AMEven though I don't have divinity, I really don't care. Who's ever idea it was may be right about it being a boring weapon. On top of that, I'm pretty sure bungie is thinking is was a lame idea to make legendary trace rifles casue I see those even more boring than divinity overall.

1 ReplyWon't happen Is just been a while that a player of this caliber had a bad takes about "how to make the game better " so everyone up in arms about it The guy in question is a 3 time raid world 1st ....so yea its top 1% not understanding the game and have their bad opinion shooter out instead of thinking about it

15 RepliesEdited by FluxFader: 9/11/2022 4:07:44 PMDatto pointed it out very well. It is a rich person problem. Salt is just out of touch with the regular casual player base.
-
5 RepliesI think the conversation has needed to happen for a while now. The overreaction that is happening is the reason why no one has wanted to bring it up. There's no way Bungie hasn't talked about it internally before this all kicked off.
-
Both well and div are defining game design. Something needs to happen to div, but Bungie also needs to make other debuffs worth using. And the answer isn’t just make them all as cracked as div. The fact that this conversation hasn’t happened yet already is incredible, considering the lack of actual support and debuff options.

exactly right why make noise on this when its not needed
