Hi!
My app is live on the app store!
With this app you can make your own Halo REACH emblems. You can choose from all of the icons, backgrounds and colors from the game. (Internet connection is required)

I dont think that bungie would use actual photos for the game, however i think that they use a single image for each icon/ background and then they color it from there (ingame). Just a theory. But the emblems that bungie has on their servers might be premade pictures. Plus i dont want to sit a whole day and save the combinations of images and colors. The update is not up yet, but soon it will. And the combinations wont take a tb of space (dont know why i said that) ;D [Edited on 11.12.2010 5:38 AM PST]
Posted by: super ruben2 And about internet connection: it would take a LOT of memory to store all the combinations of colors, emblems and backgrounds. don't know how much but i guess about a terrabyte.
I'm not any kind of app coder but I'm willing to argue that the emblem combinations would not take a terrabyte of space. They put all of the emblems into Halo Reach just fine and the entire game itself isn't more than a gigabyte or two; I bet the emblems own a very small piece of that data.
Posted by: AGDTinMan Ouch. "Halo" font fail.
i laughed.

what software you use to make the app? very interested in making my own apps too.
-
Posted by:ExampleONE There is no way it would take that much space to store the emblems. Its not like they are very detailed pictures.
Well they take unnecessary much space, probably more than 2 gig wich is ALOT, remember that not every people has a 64 gig iphone :)

I have submitted an update to apple, the update will go live in about 1-2 weeks. This update gives you the ability to save your emblem or use it on forums etc. Happy embleming! :D (and if you buy it, please review ;D)

@ROBOTtyson It's for entertaining purposes. But mostly because it was the first idea i got when i decided to make an iphone app. :D I'm currently working on an update for this app wich allows you to save the emblem for use on a forum etc. Also im working on a little 2D game for the iPhone called Arby and the Chief BANHAMMER. Yeah, not for a dollar I wont. Why does it require an internet connection to use, and what makes it worth any amount of money? If it were free, I'd probably download it, but I've gotten much better apps than that for free, and could get much better apps for 99 cents. Like apps that do things.

Can you explain what you are trying to accomplish with this app? Like, what's the purpose you are expecting people to use this for? (PS - I'm not flaming, it's a legit question I am asking. No sarcasm or hate intended)
