Ok so to get the answer out there, it’s pieces of nezarec. I have evidence too. The seasonal exotic, Delicate Tomb, has a trait called traitor’s vessel, and we know Nezarec betrayed the witness at some point in the past, plus it has pyramids all over it. Also, the lore of the weapon says that it would hide its true nature in a flashy “delicate tomb” and when the time came, it would reforge into its whole. Ironically, the first thing we got from the season was our first relic. Now about the relics, it’s been confirmed that what’s inside of them is biological somehow, and is apparently rotting flesh. So my theory is that by collecting these relics, we’re falling into a trap by rebuilding nezarec, and our final seasonal mission may be defeating him. That’s my thought. Any other theories?
