4 slams the super is gone and yet can't even kill a orange bar in higher level contact with slam.
We strictly got worse version of top tree striker super which nobody used and we got even the slam radius reduced.
Bottom tree had gone multiple nerfs to its energy and nerfs to trample with super energy return and was at decent spot.
It's not like dawnblade where the excuse was bottom tree and top tree were powerful supers in pvp and combining them would have been too much,
but atlesat the super is ranged and the fragment with super ignitions is helpful.
Fist of havoc on the otherhand has the highest attack energy cost for light attack yet only kills 1 enemy ? While stromtrance atleast kills hoards of enemies and last longer.
Arc staff not only has damage, arc staff hit k ill multiple enemies, can reflect damage and stuns champions and last so long.Raid flux on GM level can kill 2 champions back to back and some ads as well
On top of that they have exotics that almost double(raiju/raiden flux)-triple(crown of tempest) their duration as well as having another benefit or passive effects.
Thundercrash is a shutdown super, foh is roaming super and its a terrible one at that.trample was the whole reason this subclass was used in firstplace in pvp, never used in pve.
Why is it worst arc super ? Both stromtrance and arc staff last longer, clear ads better and have good stuff combined from previous trees hunters getting deflect and resist dodge, stromtrance getting landfall and ionic blink.
Its objectively the worst roaming super maybe in the whole game by far now, atleast spectral are good in pvp.
suggestion :- honestly would have liked old bottom tree to come back but knowing bungie its gone for good.
Increase the super duration by 25%-40%.
Reduce the light and right attack energy cost, make light energy cost same as old bottom tree no reason it shouldn't as it only targets one enemy or have it chain or hit multiple enemies.
Terminal velocity damage bonus doubled.
Eternal warrior :- removed overshieid instead now greatly increases fist of havoc damage and refunds super energy basically stromdancer for titans, mostly pve exotic.no trample

9 RepliesWorst arc super? Nah stormcaller and chaos reach take the cake for that one, we have to play the waiting game until bungie realizes there are two other classes in the game, and considering their thought process for the the new strand subclasses was originally to only give hunters the grapple we’re gonna be here for awhile.
-
Witherhoard does more damage than Fist of Havoc.
-
Chaos Reach says hi.
-
1 ReplyIt has been horrible for a long time but bottom striker was still good because of knockout and frontal assault. Frontal was removed but knockout is better than before, you have 3 strong charged melee options, and you can use thundercrash which is a top tier super. Striker is pretty good in pvp now to say the least, probably a top 3 subclass
-
They should revert the slam radius nerf and increase the slam damage by something like 50%. I don’t think they should increase the super’s duration really since I like it being almost a hybrid of a roaming super and a single use shutdown super like it was in d1. Still, I think they should reduce the energy cost of the light attacks since they only hit one enemy like you said. Finally, I think Eternal Warrior should still give an overshield, but it should also grant Trample as an add on. This is a lot of changes, so I’d like to see how it is with such changes, and then if it’s still weak they could buff it more

Supers in general are trash, that's what happens when you make specials and heavies too powerful Ever wondered why everyone just uses Well, Bubble and Stasis in endgame PvE? Remember when Supers were actually useful, powerful and needed? D2Y1 and D1

Edited by DiZ: 9/9/2022 1:07:46 AMFist of Havoc is pretty trash in PvE and PvP, but the neutral game more than makes up for it tbh. (Jug + Antaeus is just not fair in PvP.) I just wish it lasted a smidge longer, or that light attacks used less energy, since there's no more energy refund from Trample. Similarly, I wish Stormtrance lasted a bit longer too, with Transcendence no longer being an option. I liked holding my Super just a bit longer for my abilities to be charged so I could pull some shenanigans with the instant full health and longer duration. I still don't care for Landfall.
-
11 RepliesIt got hard nerfed awhile back hunters whinning that titans had a roaming super and it not being fair.
-
2 RepliesI'm going to be honestly with you. That super could have the same cool down as thunder crash and I still wouldn't use it in PvE or PvP.
-
18 RepliesThe crazy thing is that they knew arc Titan has always lacked in pve especially endgame content. I guess they grown comfortable with heart of inmost light spam rotation. Even our new arc exotic is cheeks while hunters get damage boost coming out of invisibility and warlocks get improved ionic traces smh.

7 RepliesEdited by hate n payne: 9/8/2022 1:41:36 AMSpectral Blades, Dawnblade, Stormcaller and Chaos Reach are just as bad.
-
Edited by Clone: 9/8/2022 4:31:02 AMIts like 2 supers in 1, a great panic super with huge aoe and great mobility, you should try the void hunter supers, now they are garbage.
-
Arc titan has always been bad honestly
-
3 RepliesTo be clear, none of the roaming supers can do that. They're meant for clearing out trash. It's not a damage super, it's a wave cleaner. But, on the other hand, I completely agree that fist is definitely the weakest arc super in the game, and holds an argument for weakest PvE super period.
-
All they wanted to do was nerf the Earthshaker and Skullfort build. Outside of that, they weren’t concerned about making it good. Titan Arc is only good for entry level activities.
-
2 RepliesIt's a roaming super It's not supposed to be amazing for DPS. Just like Spectral Blades is not meant for raid bosses. It's meant to be good in PVP, which it is, you literally are running around unkillable when it's active.
-
Edited by Soul_Eater_42: 9/7/2022 6:50:09 PMThey really need to rework it. Have the melee attack during the Super Jolt targets, and extend the duration of the Super when killing Jolted targets. When using the slam attack from the air, the aftershocks Blind targets.
-
Tickle fingers needs to talk to you about some stuff..
-
1 ReplyStormcaller bruh. All the enemy has to do is back up and you'll die in two three shots anyway.
-
16 RepliesSomebody hasn’t used Chaos Reach…
-
3 RepliesEdited by G0lden Hunt3r: 9/7/2022 4:56:33 AMSame as spectral is the worst void super by far. Takes 2-3 slashes to kill a red health on level enemy. And any more than 4 hits and you phase through enemies They should add jolt on all striker attacks.
-
Edited by Obscure Meme: 9/7/2022 2:58:13 AMSome parts I agree, but I honestly think sentinels hit detection needs some love. I don't want the eternal warrior thing, this turns it into a thundercrash scenario where the only exotic you should objectively be running is curiass. A flat buff would be better imo
-
9 RepliesEdited by DuBChiri2: 9/6/2022 8:56:22 PMWere you taking advantage of terminal velocity? They adjusted how long you have to be in the air to get the aftershocks which is definitely something that threw me off. Also, the orange bars in there are incredibly tanky. Sythonceps with knockout still takes like 3 hits to kill a vandal which is actually really tanky. Also, I used top tree a lot more than bottom tree for pve. The slams sheer potential damage, especially with synthoceps, let's it kill enemies so easily. It definitely still needs work, but it's in a better state than previously.

Chaos reach has entered the chat…

1 ReplyReally? I find it more functional in PVP than using Thundercrash. PVE Fists seems ok-ish if you punch rather than slam.
