Destiny 2 should have been a destiny 1 expansion
Destiny 2 character design is horrid
Destiny Server System and P2P sucks
Destiny isn’t fun anymore it’s a second job but that’s the whole game industry they seem to forget the definition of fun and what it’s supposed to be.
Games now a days are too Grindy and competitive to the point of not being fun and being toxic
Like I play games to unwind not to work a second frickin job
And I don’t play to be in esports either

The game is closer to D1 than ever before. You could throw any weapon from D1 into D2, and it would perform almost exactly the same (in Crucible)

I can't agree about graphics but I don't think the first part is an unpopular opinion, I think that's what most people wanted

Originally D2 was supposed to be a complete revamp (like what ff14 did) but Activision wanted a sequel (this is not to suggest bungie is either better or worse with or without Activision, just making a factual statement)

D1 had many interesting and diverse environments, but D2 has objectively better, sharper graphics with better dynamic range (brighter brights and darker darks). The armor and weapons are more detailed than before, and HDR exists to boost color saturation. Sorry bud, but D2's graphics are way better than D1. Mara Sov looked like a high school freshman in D1. She looks like a grown up in D2.

My Mara Sov observation still stands though. She looks like a kid in D1, it made her very difficult to take seriously. "Why is this JV football cheerleader threatening me? Go back to geogepahy class, child" lol. In D2, she's definitely more of an adult and her presence is a lot more intimidating, as befitting someone of her power level. I think the designers did her a solid.

Well like the title says unpopular opinion I liked old Mara and my character that didn’t need to wear a paper bag over it’s head
