It's this very neat Quickplay mode that can be unlocked. Most people will generally unlock it after spending lots of time (for some years) honing their skills, buildcraft, and weapons in PVP.
You may wonder how it got such a remarkable name. Well that's because every Quickplay game feels like you're on the 7th game of a flawless passage. Oh yes, it will have you on the edge of your seat. But what else does it have to offer, you ask?
If you're into a slower paced game you are in luck my friend! You get the most bang for your buck, as a lot of games end when the time runs out - rather than when the score fills. Most engagement happens long range, and sometimes you won't see a player for miles. This is usually due to awesome other participants not wanting to give up a kill; or wanting to boost that cool little number at the beginning of Quickplay matches.
So if you're tired of those tedious games involving: fast-paced combat, unique loadouts, and all out chaotic fun - I urge you to unlock the new Trials of Control mode!
Warning: Trials of Control may lead to malding, overall dissatisfaction with the game, lack of faith in developer leadership, forced meta loadouts, feelings of isolation, a longing for fun, and general interest in different video games.

SBMM has been fun, matches feel competitive and not sweaty, actually have teams who play the objective, and the gun fights are really fun as well! I hope it stays for a long time!

Played some today, really enjoyed it

Can I say something here? Trials come back in nearly 2 weeks… The sweats will have THEIR playlist to themselves again and straight up dismember casuals. Just wait for trials to get your fill.
