I could be in the minority, but I don’t think I am.
Seriously, it’s not fun trying to do an activity while getting spammed by people killing you over and over. It’s everywhere! Strikes. Check. Dares of Eternity. Check. Raids. Check. Crucible. Check.
Did a Dares the other day where some random guy would eager edge and then teabag after. Just the toxicity in the game sometimes.
We are trying to have some fun too, so please stop killing people who aren’t your friends with your shenanigans.
Edit: this post is really bringing out the toxic players in droves. To those that recognize and don’t condone the behavior, thanks!

I use Eager Edge occasionally to move around but I always make sure no one's in front of me before I do it.

Edited by Jamestown01010: 9/6/2022 9:20:03 PMThey usually die because they do other stupid things. Don’t revive. Same with people killing you with sparrows or runners who die after they despawn everything.

1 ReplyAnnoying as hell. At times I feel bad for them, it's always someone who needs attention and the only place they can get it is here 🥴.

2 RepliesJust easy fix. If you are not in the same fireteam you should phase through them. Only people who actually join a fireteam should be able to push others.

5 RepliesEdited by Scourged One: 9/4/2022 6:04:52 AMThe Destiny community is sadly made up of many, many more inconsiderate morons than nice people. This thread and its replies serve as proof enough. As for me, I've become an expert at doing it back, and quite enjoy making them rage quit once they realize I'm going to camp their orb and do it over and over and over until they leave if they do it to me once now.

3 Repliesi Dunno OP You seem awfully Eager to get Edged into a wall at mach 10, as for doing it, yes i do infact EE people into walls but i prefer to only do it at the end of a activity, that way i dont reset someones no death bounty, and people tend to stand still checking or deleting rolls. so its more easier to do it on, plus its freaking hilarious since they often look completely confused wondering how they died. beyond that i do it alot when with friends. but i dont find it a issue at all in randoms, as i only been EE'd once at the end of a nightfall. i was confused more then anything how i went standing still to kissing a Wall at the speed of sound. its not really possible to be flung by it if youre moving tho so i find it a minor issue worth fretting over.

85 RepliesTo anyone coming to this thread to call op and anyone who agrees with him some form of name or attempt to defend the action OP is rightly complaining about. Yes, Destiny 2 is a video game, we play it to have fun. Everyone has different standards of fun, but if your fun involves actively inconveniencing others repeatedly so you can laugh at them, instead of with them, then it's time to rethink your definition of fun. Or heck, if you are that bored of D2 that the only way you can have fun is at the detriment of another's experience with the game, then take a break, go play something else to refresh yourself.

Personally speaking, I wouldnt EE a blueberry. That kind of clownery is strictly friends-only for me.

Just remove player collision, and it fixes more than just this problem.

They shouldn’t have brought in eager edge when world line zero already existed since year 1. Time to return world line to its former glory and rework eager edge.
-
I generally do it on raids, inbetween encounters and only while it remains funny for everyone, if someone says stop, I stop because nonconsensual eager edging is bad

I thank you for this post, it is the best place to find these trolls and block them and their ignorant comments. Now lets see the usual replies from those spamming others will be. 1. You lack Skill 2. But it's fun 3. Now that I see you are upset about it I am going to do it to you 4. Relax have fun 5. get out of you moms basement 6. It's just a game Bungie is ignoring us, unless they get this kind of garbage under control I don't foresee buying anymore seasons or expansions.

someone did that to me in a freaking nightfall
-
The only time l ever use it is when l see people AFKing in certain activities for the giggles. Apart from that, i wont use it

New influx of guardians with this season does seem to have lured some right inbreds out from under the floorboards. Be careful out there guardian. I just got bagged by one of my own teammates playing freelance gambit. That’s a new one for me.

Unfortunately this is normal for any online game, you see peoples true colors in an environment where there is no consequences for there actions The best thing to do is avoid them and move on, or trick them into killing themselves and tbag there ghost -
You are not in the minority. That being said watching people fly into walls will never get old. I gotta practice more though to get the proper aiming to hit it consistantly.

I ran a strike with some clown last night who was either trying to run people over with their sparrow or aggressively trying to sword me. Normally I'd just speed run and not worry too much, but I was working on the seasonal weapon triumph and this particular intellectually disabled person was being a persistent -blam!-. Simple solution for me was <tab> + abandon activity, then start another strike. We have fun in our clan occasionally messing around but we all know each other. Yeeting an unsuspecting random fireteam member, and then continuing to badger fireteam members throughout an activity instead of actually participating is lame. I'm sure some troglodyte is going to reply "BuT iMma GoNna SwOrD yOu ReEl Gud Now" so preemptively my response is to get a life...
