Ps4 error code ce-34878-0

I keep getting error code ce-34878-0 every time I try to start up the game. Im not getting Any futher then the title screen, and I have reinstall the game and initialize my ps4 and I still get the error code, I even tried to restordre the license to the game and it does not help.

  • if you pre-ordered lightfall, I can tell you this: me and some others are trying our best to get the info going, bumping any posts that speak about something that sounds like this issue and hopefully make it get addressed and ideal situation, make it a top priority. however, due to Bungie's tight lipped nature about stuff like this, it makes it difficult to know if they are aware or yet to notice an issue. so all I can say friend is, until Bungie makes an official statement about the issue and deploy a fix, the only way to fix it on your end (unless you got the collectors edition) is to cancel and refund the pre-order. i know, it sucks, but it doesn't help that there hasn't been any news about this on Bungies end.

      Did you Pre-Order Lightfall? If you did. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/261646797?sort=0&page=0 you are not alone. Others have this same problem

        • Do you get the Bungie error code “Marmot” when this happens? Bungie is “investigating an increase in Marmot errors” and is “top priority” but they are very tight lipped about it. I’ve been getting the same PlayStation error (CE-34878-0) for the last several days now. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled 11 times now, rebuilt database, restored licenses and still having the issue. Hopefully our problems will get fixed soon!
