I play solo queue Control almost exclusively.
For the last week, I have been matching against more 3, 4, 5, and 6 stacks—while my team is often all solo queue players—than I have in months.
It’s not enjoyable. If fireteams aren’t going to match against fireteams of like compositions, then give us solo players a Control solo queue so we can have some fun too without getting our teeth kicked in.

5 RepliesHow are you getting your teeth kicked in if sbmm is active? Solo que or not you should be playing against and with players of the same skill level

1 ReplySame frustration with 3+ stacks in control as a solo player. I’m trying to get bounties, catalysts that are pvp only , try new weapons and have fun in the mode. The stacks just ruin all of it as they then turn it into meta cheese fest that players see stacks and quit , or stay and gotta switch to meta to get kills fast as they running 2-3 deep never 1v1 battles or they on mic trying get rest of fireteam sneak around you etc . They also lead to many mercy’s as they spawn camp, use uneven numbers when players quit to get huge lead and they think they are actually good with all the advantages they have. It’s also interesting as my team have zero stacks but they have a few like 3 and another 2 every game, think that’s biggest issue and seems todays TWAB about pvp they are still looking at getting similar skills vs each other and stacks matching each other will come later .

5 RepliesRight now SBMM is new and player's hidden elos haven't leveled out. So you may find people you shouldn't be matched up against for a while (minus the Smurf potential now). And bungie SBMM doesn't protect against stacks. And probably never will. If they do, the queue times for stacks will be phenomenally long trying to find other stacks to play against. Also meaning stacks will most likely abuse this new system. Either way you look at it stacks will be more abundant now. Something you'll just have to get used to because it's not going anywhere without SBMM going with it.
