Neptune is a trap
Neomuna was hidden for a reason. How could an entire planet be hidden from The Traveler and all its enemies after The Collapse? Someone hid it on purpose. I sense much like how The Witch Queen was lied to about The Traveler and manipulated to believe Darkness was a path to salvation for her people. This City is the same. I believe The Witness is behind this too.
(side note: The Witness appears to be a robot from the Lightfall cover)
We are walking into a trap with Neptune.

I sincerely doubt that Neptune and it’s civilization were entirely hidden from the Traveler. They probably just weren’t deemed worthy of the Light. As for how it remained hidden from US. Well, we’ve had our own problems on our planet to deal with. As for any reason why it would’ve been “hidden” from the Traveler, it probably has to do with the Artifact we’ll have to be chasing and get to before the Witness grabs it.
