With the seasonal Machine gun mod . Tried it multiple times.

Only good overload is Le Monarch.

You do realise overload requires like 10 rounds to hit the champion and it also activates at half of your mag. Xeno is THE WORST option to use for that. You'd neext to shoot 6-10 rounds to overload.

For everyone posting on this thread. I am not looking for advice on stunning overloads. I have no issues dealing with champions. I am reporting a bug to Bungie. Happy gaming!

Just use La Monarque for overload, it's intrensic for it now so you're not using up a mod slot and the poison cloud will stun them. It's honestly the best weapon you can use for those teleporting -blam!-

-
Mod description states continuous fire needed, so not a good option for Xeno; would be usable if overload worked with single round.

Edited by DNF2005: 8/28/2022 7:11:21 PM
With the seasonal Machine gun mod . Tried it multiple times.
Xeno was stunning with first shot as I used it to farm the legend lost sector k1 crews. May proc different in master content though I was able to just mow down the champ. Bow proved to be a better option though and I think machine gun overload is very weak Better to stun with a bow and then switch to a heavy for DPS

Dam... imagine trying to disable a Overload with a gun that fires 1 round every hour or so. That's has got to be the worst gun in the entire inventory to use. Wow
-
It's weird. Also, overload grenades eg I used a skip grenade and it stunned only if every single part of it hit the champion. If one part went somewhere else - no stun.

I just use div, it’ll stun them in less than a second and you don’t need to waste a mod slot on a champion mod
