Destiny 2 Repeatedly Crashing after installing Light Fall Preorders on PS4 – (Update, TLDR: Nothing has worked even initializing)

Current knowledge: I have tried a variety of fixes and unfortunately none had succeeded. - Turning the console on and off again - Deleting and re-installing - Clearing cash - Clearing cash and deleting and re-installing - Rebuilding the data base of my console - Deleting and re-installing after rebuilding database - Initializing the console and re-installing All of which did not work. The error code I am receiving on Sony’s end is the dreaded (CE-34878-0) Detailed info: After playing the intro to the new season yesterday (8/23) around 9:30am PT I was very delighted with the awesome work bungie did with the stream and the season. So, I decided to preorder the deluxe edition of Lightfall. So, I closed application, went to the PlayStation store and preordered. Though when I attempted to login to the game, after the title screen popped up and told me to press start to begin, when I did press start the game crashed. I can stay on the title screen for some time, though when I try to actually enter the game it crashes. The sure-fire way of fixing error (CE-34878-0) on PS4 is to initialize the console. Which I did, and it cost me the decade of photos and videos I had with friends on the original Destiny and Destiny 2 saved to my console. Though even after initializing and re-installing it still provides this error. Which leads me to believe based on the nature of this error that the problem is likely on Bungies server side. (Edit: could be Sony or both, idk) Although what I have noticed is that I still have the required content showing as downloadable in my add ons. Which is strange since I downloaded them every time I re-installed the game. It shows as downloaded in the store, but I am still able to download it again. Downloading them again doesn't change them showing as downloadable, possibly a feature, and it does nothing to fix the problem. Unfortunately I am afraid of this being a bigger problem, as I know one other person who is experiencing this as well. I honestly am really lost, and I hope that my years of playing this game I love dearly are not over on account of my only account being lost because I preorder the next big DLC. I already lost the photos and videos. Any help is much appreciated, please respond as soon as possible. . . . UPDATE . . . I was able to find a solution. Refund the preorder, then delete and redownload the game. This has worked for me as well as one other I know. If it works for you, say so bellow so others can know. If you do not want to refund the pre order I can advise: - 1. DO NOT INITALIZE, you will lose a lot for nothing. - 2. Clear your Playstation's cashe, it might work for you where it didn't for me. If it fails you can try again then delete and reinstall. - 3. Rebuild database, if it fails same process as #2. Please remember I am not a tech guy nor a support agent, so my advice could be quite crude or even sh*t. Anything I tell you is based on one dude researching and trying to fix a bug that's messing up his sh*t. I advise above all else look into the problem for yourself, you mind a better option then I did. Lastly if none of this works and you still don't want to refund, you only have one other option, wait for Bungie and/or Sony to fix it.
