Lightfall doesn't have to be this expensive, I'm not gonna pretend to know how much money Bungie is making but it can't be low to the point where it's justified to increase the DLC pricing by a whole 25%. I think Bungie shouldn't have done this.

Honestly I got it, not many games that I’m interested in are coming out this year.

34 RepliesThe new Strand abilities is another copycat. It’s basically Spiderman. You grapple and then swing like Spiderman. Creativity in this game is 6 feet below the ground. A dead corpse. It’s like the game design of this game has been made by a guy who doesn’t know how to make games at all. And it is deliberately applied into the game. You can feel it with the rewards having the same multiple drops on the same slot. Like one season, you get all gloves and primary guns. Next season you get all helmets and heavy weapons. It’s so obvious game feels like a joke! This has gotten worse since Activision left. The corpse of creativity has been exposed that you could instantly sense the guy who designed this does not know how to make games and has no clue how to make one. It’s so boring I wouldn’t even call it gaming. Creativity is dead. They can’t even create new content, they have to recycle old content from an old version of the game over 5 years ago. Dead ideas coming out from these guys. I wouldn’t put my money on them whatever they come up with. I mean even their next super they call Strand is Spiderman! When I saw it, I was laughing down in my butt on the floor. They grapple and swing like Spiderman! Like I said, Creativity is Dead!

1 ReplyAre you also complaining to the gas companies for making gas prices nearly 100% higher?
-
Since shadowkeep the pricing for this game has been so inconsistent
-
1 ReplyYou're getting the dlc+seasons+dungeons. If you do not want to spend that money which amounts to roughly $8/month then buy just the dlc.
-
3 RepliesThe $100 deluxe version includes the expansion, exclusives, and the 4 seasons involved. Assuming there are 4 seasons like usual, the expansion costs $60 itself. So you have about 6 months to come up with $100-$60. If you are in such a financial crisis that even THAT sounds hard for you to do, you need to sell your console and get a cheaper hobby.
also, you clearly don’t know how inflation works
12 RepliesI doubt it'll live up to justifying that price. Lightfall is more expensive than D2 at launch with at least the cost of CoO thrown in. I really don't think bungie has that much content coming for us in February.
-
6 RepliesIt's $100 because it's the deluxe version meaning you get all season passes for the year, dungeons, and the expansion itself. In the long run you're actually saving money, even then most people are going to wait for December for the pack to be on discount.

I hope that this is satire…

1 ReplyDo you not understand how inflation works?
-
1 ReplyYou can’t set $50 aside in six months? I could probably find that much in a couple weeks if I looked hard enough
-
Noted
not
-
How high is it out here in the United States?
-
3 RepliesI'm no economic expert but doesn't inflation mean that your dollar is worth less and therefore it takes more dollars to receive the same goods/services? I honestly don't know how it works.
-
I remember when brand new games for Nintendo was $50.

15 RepliesYou might be confused as to what inflation is and how it affects money.

I’ve finally decided to not buy a yearly DLC for the first time since taken king launched, I don’t enjoy this game anymore, no sense in that.

8 RepliesEdited by TheShadow: 8/26/2022 12:24:02 AMBungie is just a greedy business that most of you will just have to accept. Greed is the new model. You know, max profit minimal effort. It's a shame they are not the company they used to be that created quality content that was worth the price. The Bungie today creates mediocre content at best with 90% of it recycled that I don't even have to buy it to know what they will offer that isn't much at all. I already know what most of the content will be that will last about 2 weeks top, and it will be right back to the lame grind this game has been since Activision left.

12 RepliesSome of these people in the comments section are wierdos. Considering the economy, $99 would be hard pressed for most, epecially in entertainment. I can purchase the $99 pre-order several times over, but I won't. I can't justify that expense right now due to other things that need priority. Plus, Lightfall is 6 months away and by then, prices will be available for any piece of the content.

1 ReplyGlobal inflation is why it is priced so high...
-
2 RepliesDon't you think maybe inflation is the REASON it's priced higher?
-
2 RepliesIs lightfall included in the deluxe edition ?
-
Lol nice try

3 RepliesBiden will buy it for you.

4 Replies“That price is too high considering that global inflation is increasing” Tell me you’ve never been in a econ class without telling me you’ve never been in an Econ class.
