Sure, what they showed was only pre-alpha, but what they showed was;
- Hunter with the only unique/interesting super
- Warlocks with a green Shatter Novabomb from D1
- Titans with a reskinned Burning Maul/Fist of Havok
- Graple... which was originally going to be Hunter only (seriously, this is the only thing I saw that would make me use it on Warlock so far)
When it first came on screen it looked like tendrils of Hive magic which got me excited, something that should have come with Witch Queen; Savathun fights us with our light, we fight her with Hive magic. But then it kept going and all my excitement for it drained away.
I'm sure it may end up being fun and there will be people who enjoy it. Again, what they showed was pre-alpha and I hope they change up the Warlock/Titan super animations so it doesn't look like a reskin of other abilities. There's also enough theories that give Strand a logical place to be AFTER Witch Queen due to the use of Deepsight allowing us to grasp and manipulate the psychic threads of all matter (the opposite of Void where we essentially manipulate anti-matter).
So yes, I'm dissapointed there's no corruption subclass, but I understand the reasoning for Strand coming at this time.
On a side note; the whole matter/anti-matter thing kinda makes Strand appear more like a Light subclass and Void a Dark subclass

2 RepliesI am not overly worried about strand …. Glad they are trying something… But I am not going to lie… bringing strand and not at least 4 new PvP and a couple gambit maps that can better utilize everything that has changed per our abilities would be not a good thing at all.
