The PC to console crossplay in PvP needs to be fixed ASAP

If they’re going to allow that they need to allow MnK on console

1 ReplyI actually wouldn't mind it if bungie implemented M&K for consoles, I still think matchmaking should filter players based on input devices tho (Controllers with controllers) and (M&K with M&K)

Also the lag was the worse I have ever seen Last season I defend destiny 2 severs, I hardly dealt with lag or weird stuff Yesterday I was shooting targets who couldn’t take damage, I saw plenty of lag, and saw guardians who animations that were delayed and looked stiff, Destiny 2 pvp somehow got worse, no worries tho I got halo and apex to play Sony off to a great start

23 RepliesI played about 3 or 4 games last night.. there were more console players than pc players (I'm on pc). If this is the future then aim assist on controller needs looking into.

Bungie knew sbmm paired with full crossplay was a death sentence for pvp, they got it fixed quick.

Bungie never ceases to avoid screwing the pooch with these updates and this decision was no exception. If I wanted to cross play, I would have signed up from the start. To have SBMM with two different interfaces (console/pc) is about as dumb as a bag of hammers. Just goes to show you these guys don’t know what they are doing. Maybe the guys at epic can teach them some things.

I enjoy welcoming PC "sweats" to Console But the lag is bad this season

I played 11 QP matches yesterday and I noticed no difference. Still had mercy games, still had quitters and AFKers, still had really bad players mixed in with really good. If more PC players were in my lobbies than normal I did not notice any difference.

Agreed. Don’t force me to play pc players. We played one match, noticed a huge difference. And immediately turned it off. Surprisingly it didn’t take that long to find a match. I’m guessing a lot of people turned it off. Playing against all playstation players wasn’t perfect. P2p is still garbage. But at least it was a little better. Very bad change. Pvp population is already low. This won’t help. More console people will quit altogether. I stopped playing last season. Came back, thinking hard about skipping this season.

If you are skeptical about the claim that cross Play is ruining pvp further I have a challenge for you. You don't even have to share your findings with me or anything like that. Go to Crucible and whenever a player is lagging horrible go to Roster and check the icon left of their name to see what system they using.. Just a fun experiment.
