I have been playing a lot of crucible lately, cleaning up quests and catalysts. But the sheer amount of people running around with one shot kill weapons is mind boggling. Do people find it fun. I always considered it cheap. Give me an auto rifle only mode any day of the week.

1 ReplyUntil Bungie buffs primary weapons, that will always be the most efficient way to play. Always has been since midway through Y1 D1.

They only thing they find fun is running around curb stomping every one, and they need one shot kill weapons to do that. It’s a symptom of low self esteem

You mean team shot meta. No 1v1 gunfights.

Edited by Ryan Foxling: 8/15/2022 7:51:29 AMSay thanks to constant healing and overshields. What's the point of nerfing specials if it takes an eternity to kill someone with a primary. Even if you are going to try to chase someone low he just going to heal to full hp and kill you with a fusion or shotgun+melee

Bungie promotes a play to trade play style. Unlimited special and 100+ damage 10m melees.

Personally i tend to run a hand cannon + a shotgun, im real innovative as you can see. I run HC and shotty to kill enemy’s apeing at me, and it gives consistent cleanups also. It also gives me the security in the fact im pretty much able to take any gunfight within 35M or closer, 95% of gunfights in this game i can force to be in my optimal range. Other 5% i just won’t bother to fight, im not going to ego challenge a pulse in their proper range, i’ll just loose that fight always.

Well most of all these ohk weapons can be easily counterable by staying out of their range or baiting them on making a mistake I don't see no problem with them.

A auto rifle only mode just sounds like call of duty
