I lost items from my post master on my main
And it was 100% my own fault. 👍
Remember kids, always check your post master. It's even on the app so no trips to the tower needed 🙂

5 RepliesI wholeheartedly disagree. Destiny is too reliant on the app and third party sites to manage everything. When I’m sitting on the couch relaxing. I don’t want to be looking at my phone every 5 minutes to slowly transfer blues from my post master. Simply blues going to post master should auto delete. Prisms and golf balls should take priority and remain even if post master is full. Which means any blue sitting in post master should be deleted first to make way for the new loot. Not everyone is playing on pc and has dim at hand. Considering this is a looter shooter and one built for the grind. After grinding multiple gm’s, raids, lost sectors etc im constantly having to get up and transfer stuff over or go back to the tower in fear of valuable materials going to waste when the postmaster is full pop up did it pop up. I’m not asking for everything to be locked and have infinite post master. But there should be rarity protection and not the whatever as it is now

Remember, they reduced the number of blue drops from activities so they didn't have to implement auto dismantle

1 ReplyDon't beat yourself up over it.😁 Any game in which, as you say, you have to use another device in order to make the game you're playing convenient, and so you don't lose your stuff, is monumentally stupid, anti-player, and/or bad design. So, don't be so hard on yourself.👌 Probably why you see a lot of posts asking Bungie to redesign the system to be more player friendly.😉

I have DIM opened all the time and after any activity I transfer usable items direct to vault or delete it inmediatly. This, directly from any place, without having to go to the tower. Very usefull to a quick check if there are enough empty space at postmaster or Im in risk to loose something valuable. Even this, I have lost some ascendant alloy and strange coins.

10 RepliesI’ve never understood this. I keep two or three spots open on my character in each position and empty them during the transition between activities/zones or periodically during the activities (dares of eternity showers loot). Only ever had stuff disappear once in seven years. Rule of thumb: if it’s not important enough for you to pull out of the postmaster when you see it the firs time… it’s not important period. Not to say I don’t have a HUGE amount of utter junk in my vault that I never use.
