Piece of Mind seems to outclass Horror's Least
The god roll Piece of Mind with Hammer Forged has 40m damage falloff, and 38.65m with Arrowhead, while Horror's Least with max range, including adept range, has 37.9.
Horror's gets Kill Clip though.
It seems like Piece of Mind is just better overall. Or does Kill Clip just make Horror's Least that much better?

4 RepliesWhat about bxr? If you can get over the scope it out ranges piece of mind has way higher handling and can even roll with perpetual motion and kill clip as well. It can get 100 recoil without counterbalance leaving a mod slot open for full auto, quick access sling, sprint grip etc. It even has built in hip fire grip. Not to mention alot easier to obtain. So am I missing something? Why isn't this being talked about over horrors least? Bxr literally outclasses it in every way.

Heck, I'd probably argue Darkest Before is better since it has a cleaner model, better Recoil Direction, and a third column of perks that isn't mostly trash. Only thing you really sacrifice is Kill Clip and Adept upgrades. Pitting it against Piece of Mind, Horror's has less range due to zoom (although better performance when you're closer to enemies), and overall similar stats otherwise.

7 RepliesOnly because youtube suggests horror's least is the best pulse in the game, but that's subjective to your tastes. Horror's Least is not the best pulse in the game for me remotely. PVP I can probably see it with all the cheese ability spam and buffs but I'll take piece of mind, syncopation, insidious, sacred provenance over it any day for my play.

Think it’s more about the “feel” of the weapon in the end. Both are excellent weapons

Kill Clip artificially extends the range on Horror in a way, not to mention when paired with Radiant... Piece of Mind to me seems more consistent but Horror's Least is far more lethal. Depending what you're looking for, each can work better since if you can't land your shots, Horror won't help you where Piece can!

I think horrors is generally a little easier to use due to scope. I dont have an adapt, but I do have a normal one with kill clip. One KC is up and running you're laughing

Both are near best in slot for the kinetic and energy slot. Additionally you’re not going to notice the max ranges of either gun since you shouldn’t be fighting that far out with a rapid fire pulse.

Both are best in slot IMO. Not very comparable or useful to compare them directly since they don't compete for the same weapon slot anyways.

Piece of mind has a little more zoom than any other rapid fire pulse rifle, which makes it have more range by [b]default[/b], while also being a craftable weapon that lets you choose your choice of stability or range perks.

I have to get one and compare. Kill clip and 100 recoil matters but Piece of Mind is a brilliant pulse.

They are both the top 540s in their slot, it depends what set up you use. Piece of mind is a ranged 540 pulse no matter how you build it, it feels stiff, imo meant to battle scouts and cause crazy flinch . Horrors least imo is a faster lighter and more snappy 540 meant to give pulse rifle users a weapon to combat hand cannons in hand cannon range. Don't sleep on kill clip, while active it can push your range into or close to 40 meters.

Those ranges rarely come into effect. Kill clip on Horrors Least definitely makes it a better choice for a ton of players. It’s not all about the stats bruh 🤷♂️

Horror least feels too “soft” to me like water gun and probably because of this it doesn’t feel like a 540
