Plenty of people work Saturdays too. It's on for literally 24 hours, if you're busy that whole 24, well, that's just bad luck.

How does that cater to streamers?

Huh? The majority of streamers are complaining because they get more viewers on Saturdays, which means more subs, followers, bits etc.

Honey it's all about the money, D1 old content being brought back as new ( oh Joy), monetization of Eververse so they could make new content like the Outbreak Perfected guest, something that's happened only once since they monetized Eververse, the rest of the money went to other things that aren't part of the game. A move to seasonal content that would cost a nominal fee, since making DLC content was extremely hard, with the seasonal it wouldnt have to be as detailed or as large as DLC content, we'd get 4 extra events like Solstice, Guardian games ect, now they tacked an extra 9.99 for an event ticket upgrade. Almost every seal had a requirement to do a Grandmaster nightfall, that they finally dropped to Master, I quess it was the playerbase pointing out that 3.8% of playerbase hadn't ever even acquired the Triumph of completing a Grandmaster to date. Or the fact competitive became a toxic cesspool for the vast majority of players, that eventually tainted all PVP as Pinnacle weapons trashed it for those who couldn't spend the massive hours to get them since they have families, kids, jobs, and life commitments. Once droves of players stopped playing PVP at all and the 4% couldn't find fireteams after excessive waits it changed with single player . But Bungie didnt learn now Iron Banner and any other type of PVP is finding nothing but Adept, Timelost, ect weapons ruining the PVP for anybody else. Bungie couldn't write an algorithm that tracked skill level, funny for a company that literally tracks everything. The money the game has raked in year after year hasnt been spent on bettering the gamers experience, you know new never before seen raids, strikes, exotic weapons quests, actual new maps for PVP, or upgrading servers ect it's gone to starting a division for movies or TV series like Halo has done. Unfortunately creativity isnt something Bungie stresses over anymore, they have found it's easier to rely on the creativity of the original developers of D1, old raids and old weapons. Bungie has gotten lazy..

How is it catering to streamers? They will have less people to watch their streams cause everyone will be at school and work.

This make no sense😂 Streamer doesn't care if its on Friday Saturday or Monday Funny thing is it will be better for them to be on the weekend also since they would get more viewers ..... Haven't the raids always dropped on the weekend?

Streamers can play any day of the week, they don’t care if it’s on Monday or Sunday they’ll just play.

You have 24h to do it. You dont have to start it at the reset. Also they specified that it was for THEM, not for the streamers lmao. You guys really need to see a psy someday, you really have an issue with streamers. If we listen to this forum, streamers are the reason every suck in life

What? Everyone will. Its up for 24 hours. Thats Friday reset to Saturday same time. Literally no excuse not to do it if you dont want to. I have school Friday and work Saturday, Ill still do the damn raid.

I don't care bc it's rigged anyway. If it's King's Fall I'll be especially apathetic bc that's the most overdone raid in the series with it being the ONLY endgame in the longest content drought Destiny ever knew, and was revamped not even a year later lol

They don’t cater to Streamers. They’re literally catering to you 99% of the time. I don’t like the Friday raid day either but that wasn’t about the streamers. It was about VoW and how much of a sh!tshow it was the last time they released a weekend raid. And no one was available to fix it. Now it will be on hands on deck if something goes wrong. Make no mistake, this game has been watered down to the point to where it’s laughable…. Stop blaming the wrong group of ppl. You want someone to blame, blame Bungie for not thinking ahead and shifting the workweek from Tuesday- Saturday. It’s 2 weeks out of the year. And it’s very possible to do so.
